I was stationed at Bliss twice and I never had issues with him. We took care of business and I was able to purchase the gear I needed to turn in when I retired. Certain soldiers just want civilians to kiss their ass at all times. All you gotta do is give respect to get it. Well, maybe he was a little off. He swore my friend was a convicted felon on the run so he kicked him out of his establishment while I was dealing with him, LMAO!! But, I warned my friend to let me do the talking and not to make sudden movements in his shop. Well my buddy actually didn't do anything wrong, but I had a feeling the man was gonna kick him out and he did.. The best part was when the man told me my friend was a fugitive on the run, that he saw him on the news last night. Good memories!!

The owner was very friendly. We called in today around 3:30 to see if the store was open. The owner informed us he was closing at 4 but that he would wait for us. It took us 15 minutes to get there, and yes he was there waiting. The store is stocked with so many different items and prices are reasonable for it being a surplus store. I've been to other surplus stores and their prices were ridiculous.

As a couple of soldiers were walking out of this place, they warned us to turn around. That should have been our cue to get out of there. When we walked in, the owner (I assume) hounded us to tell him what the soldiers said as they were leaving. That put us in an uncomfortable situation. We said they didn't say anything. Then he wouldn't help us find what we were looking for. It was a really weird interaction, altogether.

This guy was really nice and sweet to my husband and I but we both got a really really creepy vibe from him. He asked us if we wanted somw "alone time" on his store. 😨 He charged us $48.78 for an old pair of ASU pants we found under mountains and mountains of clothes. Would never come here again. GI Supply, on Fred Wilson, is by far the best store for used military clothing near Fort Bliss. Definitely go there instead!

He wanted double was CIF wanted for new items. He was also very rude. Never going there again. He has anything you need but at double the price of new, whats the point?
