Never had a problem with Fox and Hound until my last most recent visit, Which will be my LAST visit. I'm giving you all a rating of 1 star because of the service that I received on my last visit. I was surrounded by several dogs in the restaurant, that didn't seem to be service or assistance dogs. The waitress’s hair was shedding which made it difficult for me to order for fear that there would be hair in my food. I ordered anyway. After ordering my appetizers and waiting for some time, I decided to order a drink. I asked my waitress about Sunday specials, and she stated, "We do not have any specials today." Luckily my friend noticed a flier that advertised 5 different drinks for $5 for the day. When he brought it to her attention, she said, "Oh, that's our 5 for 5, let me see what drinks are included." I’m shocked because I was initially told that there weren’t any specials on Sunday's. I just wanted to enjoy my Sunday so I waited to see what was available. Our appetizers came out and they were delicious. Shortly after the waitress returns with the drink menu. I told her what I wanted and she asked for my I.D. Handed over my card and it took little over two minutes for my waitress to go over my I.D. Before giving it back, I asked if there was something wrong and she stated that at first she couldn't find my DOB but after looking a little harder, she found it. Less than a minute later, a manager comes out and said that my waitress couldn't find my DOB (which is the 1st RED line on my Drivers License under my name). Now, after sitting 30 minutes, others ordered several drinks with no requests for identification but a request was made for mine.

I'm only giving one star because that's as low as I can give to leave this review. We've really liked this bar. Low key, nice food and good music. After today we won't go there again. We needed to go to the hostess booth to ask for our cheque. When we first arrived she had greeted us as if we were an inconvenience and was even worse when we went to get the cheque. She was sullen and disinterested in everyone there. When I gave friendly feedback to the manager, he defended her disposition saying that she's new and young. I was made to feel that I was in the wrong for giving the feedback. Even worse, he made it awkward by speaking to the hostess about it while I was still standing there and waited for him to come see me. We definitely won't go back after that.

Ok, so the only reason for two stars here is because the service was pretty good (there were 7 in our group). With that said, I was essentially forced to come here by a majority vote group decision. Our original place in mind was Bad Daddy's burger bar (right across the street). Of course, as fate would have it, someone in our group couldn't wait. So of course we come over to Fox and Hound and no wait, good right? Nah, not so much. There's a reason the place was close to deserted. Getting straight to the point, for $12 can I please get something resembling a real burger? For being called a "ranch hand" burger it should've resembled by its size something a rancher would eat. Two thumbs down. A Wendy's Double Baconator would've been better. Just saying. If you are across the street from Bad Daddy's, wouldn't you at least try to compete for some of their business? They had a 30 minute wait for a reason. Here's some recommendations: Change up your menu some by adding some new items (pictures to go with them), lower your prices, and serve more generous portions. I rest my case.

not a bad sports bar for a quick drink and a snack. The noise level get get a little high (even for a sports bar) at times, but overall I'd still recommend it.
