The blue line is under going a major renovation for the next few months. Meanwhile, shuttle busses are provided at no cost to the riders. The staff coordination to organize this whole operation is well executed. The staff is very friendly helping the riders getting to the right bus. The driver is very friendly also and bus is very clean. Plan ahead to add extra time to your normal ride schedule. It is an hour ride to the airport as the bus take few stops along the way.
There is nothing to love above Springfield Metro. A terrible functional structure which handles its load of commuters but has no redeeming features whatsoever. As commuters exit the station, recordings of screeching pigeons play to remind people of the pain of using mass transit as they wait for buses from different local systems.
Greeted by friendly Express staff, helpful Metro guides. Clean, open air, end of the line station with adequate parking. Renovations to provide better bus access complete, working on elevator updates.
Love it. This was my first time here but everything was really awesome. People, employees and machines were very helpful for me. Next time, I will take more friends here.

Zero stars the station manager was not on duty. I spent 45 minutes waiting after pressing the alarm button to see why my card didn't work at the gates it did at Branch Avenue at the exit! If Metro can overstaff tourist traps like Navy Yard, then it should have ACTUAL STAFF AT THIS STATION!
I had a terrific driver. Such a great driver she wouldn't accept my tip. She deserved it though.
We were just tourist trying to take the metro. There was a guy who was very helpful in helping us find our way into DC. I did find it on the pricey side. So on the 2nd day we just used our car.
Pretty nice for a train station. It's a good way to get to DC when on vacation. It wasn't too busy when I went there. Plus, going to DC by train is totally recommended if you want to avoid the rush hour of that area.
This morning, I had to pick up my husband at the Springfield Metro Station. I mistakenly entered the parking building since I was unfamiliar with the area. There was only one way to enter, I was not able to make a U turn or backing up because there was a car behind me. Only choice I had was to enter the parking building to avoid blocking the entrance. I did not stop or park. I just drove through the exit. No person at the exit booth to explain what happened. I had to talk through the intercom. I was told to pay full price $8.95 to get out of the parking building whatsoever. I was so frustrated! What an unreasonable parking service they provide for the taxpayers!
