Greyhound ruined my weekend So made a plan to go surprise my family this weekend in Atlanta so I booked an Amtrak train down there. I get to Amtrak and find out they didn't send out a timely alert or update there app beyond status unknown yet when I got there they told me it was cancelled. they gave me an immediate refund the man at the desk was nice enough to recommend an alternate. He said at last eCheck Greyhound had some openings open but I was skeptical yet i still bought the ticket because I really wanted to see my family. Fast forward an hour and 47 minutes, and yes I really did time it, I arrive to the station earlier than the boarding time and there is no bus inside so I call Greyhound it takes 8 minutes for them to answer which is normal for theses kind of services but it takes almost 20 minutes for them to confirm with me that the bus will be delayed until about 1208am that night. Now mind you but at this point I already know what's about to happen because I've seen it happening at greyhound before to another passenger the one other time I made the mistake of riding with them but I still tried to be polite at first. When speaking to Representatives about a refund he said that he can only give me a partial refund for that one bus but not the entirety of all the buses that I paid for but would be unable to use(which we're a total 3 there and 2 back). Now I was not having this when I try to explain to him, which I'm pretty sure he already knew this, was that unless I got this exact bus(which was the only one they had in my area) to my next destination which had the connecting bus to my final destionation and they would not be delaying it which then would make all my tickets invalid. I also explaind when i bought this ticket less than 2 hours ago there where no warnings about the possiblities on delayes for that ride which was less that 2 hours away. I finally got it through his head that I would not accept a partial of a partial refund after arguing for 10ish minutes he then referred me to refunds. I stayed on with refunds arguing agian that I was not going to accept a partial and why. after arguing for what seems like forever(little over 23 min) she finally told me that until the delay was over and that my ticket was officially closed, after I missed the buses, they couldn't even consider a refund when before I was told I could get the partial of a partial refund for the first bus but only that one, but I have to wait for 24 hours after all the tickets close the next day on March 3rd 2018 at 1:45 and again I wasn't having this. After confirming the reasoning behind this and having her document my case and complaints (I had her read them back so that I knew she wasn't bsing me) I knew that i had possibly been more than a little rude to the attendant by this point because of my frustration and the money wasted I did muster up a "good day and I would call you on the Sunday" which was 24 hours after the official time of the closing tickets since there was no guarantee for a refund which before there was a guarantee if only I took the partial refund for that part of the trip which would have left me stranded. So moral of the story which most of you already know by now don't ride Greyhound cuz they screw you over and I've seen it before but I've never experienced it. Since I was desperate enough to ide it this happened. Greyhound employees are some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with and most inconsiderate i have ever know no matter how polite you are or if you have any baggage or family with you so please next time you want to travel somewhere don't ride Greyhound even if it seems cheaper it is by far the worst service I have ever had and that's including the New York subway stations with all its rats and people pissing in the railings. have a wonderful day and PLEASE SHARE😀

Fairly nice for a smaller train station. Some snack machines, nice places to sit, good architecture, good views. Not that many outlets in the main seating area, and not much else within immediate walking distance to do while you're waiting.

Terrible parking lot that is fairly difficult to turn left out of. The few times I've gone inside its been a bit dirty and somw staff seemed uninterested in anything.

No issues taking the Metro from DC to King Street. Ontime and was clean.
