Came here with a friend for breakfast after a long night of partying. I've been a few times and I have to say, while it's pretty good, I am not entirely blown away. Then again, I'm a vegetarian, so this place doesn't really cater to people who don't eat meat. If you can't get a giant meat sandwich, I think the place suffers a bit. The line wasn't too long, we got there around 10:30 and I think we sat down within 10 minutes. Not bad at all. Except that it took a customer telling a waitress that we hadn't been served in another 10 minutes. So that was kind of a drag. We both got vegetarian omelettes with herbs. The herbs are great. The American cheese on top is... yeah. I don't know. I get it's an old timey diner, but it would be okay to buy some like... real cheddar cheese or something. Or ask. It was a solid, if unspectacular omelette. My sister also claims they have the "best donuts she's ever had." I had a bite. I don't know if it's the best donut I ever had. It's a solid donut. They only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the lobby. They pass the savings onto.. well, themselves, presumably. Cause the OJ ain't cheap. I do like the old school diner vibe, and they make solid food, but it's really not a great option for people who don't eat meat. Which is fine. It seems to be doing just great without us, heh.

Best breakfast sandwich spot in New Jersey period. the Eggs are scrambled to a light perfection while the finest American cheese and fresh bacon made my bagel by first name

I love Frank's and try to go here when I'm in town. it's a great diner with good diner food. Bring cash. They're often pretty busy, though, and the wait for a table can be long especially if the party is larger than 4.
