The place has a feel of, well... A rustic Tavern. The service is pretty good, the waiters are very bubbly and pretty attentive. The restaurant has a good selection between bar style food and restaurant quality on entrees with an added bonus of a really exceptional Raw Bar. They have a decent wine selection and a very wide beer selection. My experience was pretty good as I have been there multiple times they never fail to deliver on service and quality of food.

Amazing burgers. The chips are like crack cocaine, I couldn't stop eating them. Their whiskey and bourbon section is pretty strong. I will return... in stretchy pants!

Please use caution when visiting this bar/restaurant. The barmaid Sam may possibly be attempting to scam customers, and the manager did nothing to assist us. I was told my credit card was not working which was odd because I had just used it to purchase dinner at an establishment next door (this is after the barmaid was being incredibly rude so it was an alarming coincidence), so we left cash on the bar. I checked my online bank statement while there because it was strangely coincidental that this woman was being so rude and now suddenly my card was not working, and it turns out my account was charged SIX times. We asked to see a manager to clarify the issue and make him aware of what was going on. While waiting for a manager, the barmaid Sam was pointing at our group and making it known she was talking about us to several customers and a co-worker. It was unbelievable that this was happening, she was outright harassing us and possibly scamming us. I try to be understanding of what is going on in people’s lives to make them act the way they do, but this woman was completely out of line and uncontrolled by her supervisor. While speaking to the manager, she was doing what she could to further intimidate our group. Apparently one of my friends had had enough and shook his head in disappointment at her while flipping her the bird. (It was inappropriate, but I would say pretty well deserved at this point!) Two giant bouncers approached us (while we were actively speaking with the manager) and start physically making my friends leave. We said to the manager “Do you see what is happening right now? Are you going to do something about this?” to which he did not respond. Once outside, the bouncers started heckling my friends! It was an unbelievable experience. Please please please use caution when visiting this establishment. Please check your online bank statements before you leave. Please be remember this post and be aware!!

If you hand them your credit card, you might get stealth charged six times for the same order and then asked to pay in cash. If you protest that fact, you might get tossed out by the bouncers. Simply put, Asbury Park offers better places to grab dinner and more interesting places to get mugged.

4 stars for a sports bar type of place. Burgers, wings and oysters too. The seating is comfortable, the hostess is pleasant and the bartenders are friendly. There's plenty on the menu, they have a good happy hour and occasional entertainment. Excellent selection of beer on tap.
