BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISRESPECTFUL. DISHONEST. UNETHICAL. While they came with good reviews before I paid for services, my experience left me disappointed and feeling ripped off. I asked for a quote and got a verbal of $950 for replacing the upholstery in my older Toyota. That isn't cheap, but I thought to do it right I reasoned I might have to pay a little more. Since these guys were supposed to be reputable I would budget what I needed and go for it. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed it would be more like $1,200 due to the fact that they needed to add foam to my seats as mine was worn down. So I gave in grudgingly and let them go for it. After I got my car back I was a little annoyed to find that the car was a mess. There was foam debris left in the car and dirt from under my seats all strewn around. Even a $30 oil change place vacuums up the car before delivery and that isn't even their mess! But Franks just gave me my vehicle back dirtier than I had given it to them. Seemed kind of disrespectful. But that wasn't the half of it! First of all the lever to the electric reclining function was broken off on the drivers side. I tried to forgive that, thinking, "Well, accidents happen". But then I couldn't ignore the next problem. The passenger seat was in an awkward position, but it wouldn't slide back! I thought something jammed it. So I looked underneath the seat and see a motor flopping around whenever I engage the button! They didn't put it back properly! I called them and they told me to bring it back and they would fix it. I live about 30 miles from them so that was a big hassle. I thought "who is going to pay for my gas and my time?" They should have had it correct when I left! When I got there they told me that the bracket was broken and they can't fix it without a new part. Supposedly the new part is $900! (my expense) They didn't even really try. They didn't take responsibility for it. They didn't seem to care at all. They blamed the problem on an old seat and said it wasn't their fault, but it wasn't broken before I brought it to them and it was broken when they gave it back to me. Unless I take out my seat and fix it myself it will forever be in an awkward sitting position. I paid what I think is a lot of money to restore my interior and what I got in return was a vehicle with two dysfunctional front seats, a big hole in my pocket and a lot of disrespect! I would never recommend this place to anyone and definitely would look around a bit and take my chances with just about anyone else. There are a lot of places that respect their customers and can do this service without ruining your car. Frank's Trim Shop owes me an apology and a repair of my vehicle. But I don't expect to ever hear from them again because they already got my money. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISRESPECTFUL. DISHONEST. UNETHICAL.
