Upon entering this newly constructed Log Lodge structure, you will be greeted by the stone-crafted twenty nine foot high fireplace. It is in this grand, yet cozy, great room where guests can curl into comfortable couches, enjoy the company of fellow travelers, or rejuvenate with a favorite book. The rustic setting is contrasted with elegant, Old World accents, making those who stay at the Franziska Haus feel as though they have experienced something truly unique. The marvel of the interior is graced with views of surrounding filbert orchards, grazing sheep, nearby vineyards and the distant Chehalem Hills. You will be happy to call this home for a time as you easily travel to and from this Dundee Hills Bed and Breakfast to the many nearby award winning wineries, restaurants and attractions.

Clark and Brigitte run a beautiful, luxurious bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Wendelin Room which I think might've been the least expensive room they offer, but it was extremely nice and had a huge, beautiful bathroom. Also a mini-fridge. The location is close to basically anywhere you'd want to go for wine tasting. The portions on breakfast were perfect in my opinion and very tasty.

Near the end of breakfast Clark would come over to hang out a bit and give you a ton of pro tips on wineries based on what you like. He really knows his stuff.

We would definitely stay here again if we planned another wine tasting trip in the valley.

As a celebration escape from the east coast craziness we ventured to Franziska house for wine touring and relaxation.  Our experience was better than any we had previously in California. Franziska house was beautiful new construction tastefully decorated to provide comfort, peace and light from all angles. Our room was as beautiful and spacious as the pictures, plus the private sitting room attached was perfect for early morning reading or a late afternoon snooze.  The living room was available for cozy relaxation by the fire or watching the lambs play next door. Our breakfasts were surely gourmet and protein packed for a busy day of wining and dining. 
The location could not have been better for easy access to downtown Dundee and all surrounding towns for wine touring while still providing the peace and quiet of a country setting.  We cannot thank you enough!!

Perfect Location.  Just far enough away from the highway and nestled pretty much in the center of Oregon's best wine country.  The establishment is new, but has the feel of Timberline Lodge.  Excellent hosts.  They know just how much space to give you.  If you want to chat it up they're right there and truly entertaining.  If you feel like hiding and want to be alone they can do that as well.
