This hotel made up for its mild deficiencies in providing over-the-top service in other areas. The mild deficiencies are that the beds are a little hard and there was no shampoo automatically provided, but the WiFi was the fastest that I've ever experienced in a hotel and everything was well kept and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent and quick for a continental breakfast as it provided the regular pastries as well as breakfast sandwiches and burritos, which made my morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful and when I left some items at the hotel, they went out of their way to help. The pool area was a nice place to relax after a long day and it was clean and the temperature of the jacuzzi was perfect. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel.

I tried to book online through the Travelodge website. I called to check on the pet policy before I finished booking and the guy told me that if I book online to call and make sure that it goes through and everything is set. So, while I had him on the phone, I told him that the site was giving me the option of a pet friendly room with two queen beds and the price it was offering. He told me that there weren't any rooms available. What good is booking a room online if they aren't going to honor it when you arrive? Moving on to the next place. I've always booked online for other hotels and have never had an issue. Too bad since I come to the Newberg frequently.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kery on the Monday am shift during my stay was the best. She checked on me to make sure I had breakfast and gave me a farewell hug when I left. Now, that feels like home!

Room was clean, but in otherwise sad condition. The carpet "baseboard" was falling off the wall, the caulk between the tub and floor was cracked and missing in places, and the room could use a good paint job. The desk clerk was very accommodating when we ask for a ground floor room because the room she originally assigned was on the second floor; there is NO elevator (we are seniors with some mobility issues).

We have been staying here for years. We have 4 girls and they play competition travel softball. This hotel is close to the fields and located perfectly for all our needs. The hot tub and pool are always nice and a great way to relax at the end of a long softball day. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes our games get cancelled due to weather conditions and they are awesome about working with us as long as we book with them directly. I have had 1 unfortunate encounter with a staff member who told me they were booked when they weren't. It must've been the end of her shift cause I called back 20mins later to ask to be put on a waiting list and someone else answered and said they had rooms available.  The owners are great and that was definitely not enough to detour me. There is a restaurant in the same parking lot that has great food. This place is super convenient for our family. The beds are ok. I like super soft beds but my hubby likes firm. These kind of meet in the middle. It works. 

 When you spend most your weekends from April to July in hotels this place is perfect and the prices are too!
