South Fred Meyer's is in need of a better store manager and better trained employees. Looks like I'll have to wait awhile until they all get the store and their job down. Update: I went back a few days later to try again. Nothing changed. This time there was a manager with an attitude. He couldn't even answer a question. Looks like he needs to go back to training mode. Suggestion: place store maps at each entrance and each check stand. Door greeter too. Please help them all so that I can once again shop at my local FM and not have to drive to North Medford. Which I will do until things are better.

I've always loved Fred Meyer, but I couldn't be more disappointed with the home department. My husband and I have been trying to purchase a couch for our new home. Went into the store and spoke with Brett (over 3 weeks ago) and they didn't have all the pieces in. He said he would put an order in for the other pieces and call me when they arrive. He called me the same night and said he ordered the pieces and they should be in Wed or at the very latest Saturday. Wed came, no call. I called and he said they hadn't come in yet. Saturday came and went, no call. Called Sunday, still not in. He wasn't pleasant when telling me he would call me when they arrive. My husband has since been calling. Today he got someone other then Brett. He had no idea about any of this and said Brett would call when he got in. Brett, again, did not call. The guy my husband spoke to earlier called and left a message saying they couldn't find anything and would order the pieces today. I'm so dissatisfied, I'm going to go somewhere else at this point unless a manager contacts me and has some sort of resolution. I worked in retail, I get most of it. But this seems like a complete lie that got out of hand with no communication from their side. I was so excited and now I'm beyond frustrated 3 weeks later...

We shop here to get the gas rewards, but I'm constantly being denied my rewards. I've emailed customer service multiple times and only ever gotten 1 reply. The gas attendant will ask if I want to use my gas points and I'll deny, because we use it for our truck (we commute a long distance). My husband will then go and specifically ask for the reward that same day when filling up and it'll mysteriously be gone. This has happened for over a year and it's getting frustrating. I'm also currently dealing with the fact that my acct somehow got put into my father in laws name (his address, my email and my husband's phone number). He doesn't know how this happened and has his own acct. And the only way to try and get assistance is by going into the store, which is difficult to do with such busy schedules. I'm considering switching to Safeway or Albertsons all together if this issue doesn't get fixed. The gas attendants need better training, customer service issues should be handled online also in this day and age, and gas points should not expire or disappear!

I love this store. Everything you could possibly want or need in one stop. They have it all. From clothes to sporting goods and a full grocery store. I always like the friendly staff that greats you and helps you with everything you need.

Always clean with friendly cashiers. A store that actually calls for backup cashiers when busy. GREAT wine prices
