Went into this little new bagel bakery finally. Was really impressed with the service, super clean environment. Even the bathroom around their busy time was clean and smelled fresh. The people were super friendly. Service is so hard to find nowadays. These guys are doing something right! I asked some questions about the business since I like small, locally owned business. I ended up talking to the owner who was in the back working. I enjoy supporting a business where the owner works in their business. It tells me they are invested in the people and product and customer satisfaction. This is not some chain with millionaire investors only looking for returns. For food I ordered the B.L.A.T and I was not let down. Thick bacon, perfectly ripe avocado, fresh crisp lettuce and a tomato with flavor. I’ll be back. Well done Freedom Bagel Bakery
Updated: After my bagel sandwich yesterday the owner reached out to me personally. This is a local owned, newer shop and the response was on point. They not only offered to remake my sandwich they offered for my husbands to be re-made too but his was good the first time but they also offered to deliver my sandwich as I’m currently unable to drive after a surgery. The second sandwich was delicious. The ratio of meat to cream cheese to veggies was fantastic today. The customer service was very polite and honestly felt like the number one goal was to show me their food was quality and make the situation right. I will say after this experience I will be back and happy to say this is the very reason I love local owned shops. It was immediately responded to because they actually care about their customers and not just in it to squeeze another dollar. The taste of the actual bagel was good but I ordered a turkey bagel sandwich and they didn’t put any turkey on my sandwich. I paid extra $2 for cream cheese I asked for extra and there was barely any on my sandwich at all. Very disappointed that an $11 bagel sandwich I had to add my own meat. To top it off there was no number to call and get a refund for my wasted money. I don’t usually write a bad review but this was my worst experience in a long time.
Incredible service, incredible food! We got the yellowstone see photo on a cheddar jalapeno bagel and the new Yorker on toasted sesame, sub cucumbers for tomatoes. The toppings are fresh, the bagels perfectly New York style chewy, slight tang, great crust and coloring, and the portions are significant! So thrilled to find Freedom Bagels! The staff are so friendly, not just polite. I worked in food service for 10 years so I know how draining it can be to serve people food all day, so I REALLY appreciate how down to earth, friendly, thoughtful, and attentive the staff were. They looked like they enjoyed being there, which is huge for me to see as a customer. I want to know that the people working are happy, it's a sign they're treated well. I could also tell how clean they were, not just in the FOH but BOH. The line was super clean prep board AND 6th pans! and so was the display case. My photos don't do the food justice. Seriously, y'all. Get your bagels here.
We went in prepared to try this New York inspired Bagel Bakery, and it did not disappoint! The food: We really enjoyed the creative sandwhich options. It was nice there were several breakfast and lunch toppings to have layered upon our Bagels, not to mention the various smears that were available We got a tub of Huckleberry Blueberry cream cheese for the road. We tried a breakfast sandwhich, The Fivestar, which had a pile of delicious, thinly sliced, tender tri-tip, egg and cheese, not to mention a very tasty chimichurri sauce, all layered on a jalapeño cheddar Bagel. Next time we plan to add bacon too! We also ordered The Yellowstone, from the lunch sandwhich menu, which was also layered with a delicious pile of tri-tip, tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise and we added pickles. I'll definitely be adding avocado and chimichurri to this bagelwhich our next stop Our 3rd selection was the pepperoni pizza Bagel, which my 11 year-old gave rave reviews! To wash down our tasty Bagels, we ordered 2 freshly squeezed glasses of juice, and a cup of Freedom Bagel Bakery Blend coffee. The atmosphere: Very clean store, which modern industrial vibe, with a quite buzz of traffic coming through for Bagels. There is 1 small table up front, for those who care to sit and eat, as well as window seating on bar stools. A serve yourself soda fountain, as well as freshly brewed coffee. We will definitely be going back! I plan to get a smear of Idaho Potato Cream cheese on my next sandwhich!
I went opening weekend and while it took a little while to get our food understandably since they just opened and were getting in the flow of everything. It was delicious. I have been a frequent and regular customer since they have opened. They have gotten in the flow and service is much faster now. Bagels are always delicious. Even my kid asks to go get their bagels. Best Bagels I have ever had. Sad they took the bacon out of the Jalapeño cream cheese but still delicious.

We stopped in for the first time this morning and our bagels were AMAZING - damn! 10/10 highly recommend. Already looking forward to coming back tomorrow?! and trying their other bagels and cream cheese. So good!
Absolutely love this place! Their bagels are so dang soft and delicious!! I've done their breakfast sandwiches, regular smear bagels and finally a lunch bagel. I literally wished I had gotten 2 of their lunch bagel sandwiches. Highly recommend for a good bagel fix
The best bagel sandwich we've had in the Boise area.
Had high hopes, but alas not what I was expecting. Really wanted an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Well, no everything bagel and....this surprised me the most...they do not have veggie cream cheese. ! Ended up with a plain bagel, toasted with plain cream cheese. Bagel itself was pretty good. Soft and chewy inside, crispy outside due to the toasting.
