Nothing Bundt Cakes
"To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection."

I cant speak for the cakes, didn't get that far. The "updated" voice recording i was greeted with, from Feb. 2022, stated they don't answer questions or take orders over the phone. This really shows that the customer is not the priority. Why would i take the time to send an email about a simple question when i can just call one of the other many bakeries in the area and get immediate service? I don't know who's idea that was, but it needs to be re-evaluated
Well, thank you for getting back to me and how your company is handling customer service on your end is a bit of a joke. For example, today I called before opening to hear a voice message, if there was one. There was. It was from Feb.20, 2022 almost 9mos ago and said that because of busyness, your weren't taking any phone orders and I could respond by email or order online and gave the contact info. It said something about that because Valentines day and Fathers day you can't answer the phone, even when I called several times during open hrs. When I sent the email, it was an invalid email address, go figure which makes sense to me if you don't want customers. I canceled patients to travel from Emmett to your Boise shop to get a cake, before 6pm. There was one 1 other person in the shop when I finally got there at 540pm. Apparently, that is too busy to have someone managing the phones and making sure emails and online orders are working. Seriously, it was a joke and left me no other option that to cancel patients and travel 45min to pick up a cake! Best wishes to you and a poor business model. Dr Larry Kemp ps. Have you looked online as to what people are saying about your customer service and appreciation?? Show quoted text
The cakes are good but who really doesn’t answer the phone at their establishment. I just wanted to see if I could pick up my already paid for order an hour and a half early and the phone message says to email to get a reply with FAQ. Well the FAQ says to contact the establishment. Definitely need to figure that process out.
The cakes in Bundt are soooo sweet. The minis with the various flavors are my preference, because then you get four different flavors to satisfy everyone! With all the traffic, place is hard to get in and out but what can you do. On the pricey side but for fresh cakes so worth it again.
The Lemon was delicious! Picture is of what's I could get before the hubby dug in. Also the gal in the shop had a wonderful smile and was awesome.
Terrible service for a grossly overpriced product. I went there once and had an awful experience. Decided maybe it was a fluke and gave them a second chance. They are rude and unaccommodating. I walked out empty handed and took my business to Baskin Robbin's.
They don't answer their calls. I emailed and there's no answer. But anyway, I planed an order online and that was fine. we ordered a dozen and so we tried every flavor and it was just flavorless. So much so we weren't too sure if we were having vanilla or not until we tried the lemon and decided it was vanilla by process of elimination as they both looked alike. They were moist but very bouncy and no taste.
I called to order a cake and all I got was a recording telling me to go online to order. So, I go online to order and their site says there are no times available for pickup. In the past I've gone in for a cake and they've said they have none ready and that they'll take my order so I can come back and get it later. Basically, this place is running like the internet and phones don't exist. This is fine, as long as you don't have a website or a phone number .... Either use these tools properly or don't use them at all. I'm trying really hard to give you my money lol
The last few times I have went in to order, they are closed out of nowhere. I thought They were scheduled to close at 7pm, I walk in at 6:15 and they say “our registers are closed.” I asked if I could order as I needed a cake for tomorrow at work and they said “sorry registers are closed.” Their bundt cakes are delicious, but their service is downright terrible. You can’t call prior to coming to even make sure they’re open. I’m sick and tired of making trips to this Meridian location and wasting my time and gas and dealing with their service. I’ll give a small business bakery my business and money.
I want to start by saying the cakes taste amazing. The taste, texture, and quality of these cakes is incomparable. I got one on Thanksgiving for the whole family to try and we all loved it. Next up, the service provided by the workers is the best. I ordered my cake for the day before Thanksgiving because they were closed on the day of. Unfortunately, I missed the time to pick up the cake since they close at 5 and I got off work at 4:30. I emailed their business email address at about 7:00 pm later that night apologizing and asking if there was anything that we can do. Within 15 minutes I got a reply saying that someone could meet me there to pickup the cake even though they will be closed. That was such a generous and nice thing that it deserved a 5 star rating.
