What a great place to play Pickleball , with 8 courts. We dropped in in the morning around 9 and there were many people playing. Levels range from beginner to expert and everybody was friendly and invited us to play. The rest of the park looked very nice as well with several places for kids to play and a nice restroom.

One of our favorite places to have a birthday party or just enjoy a morning, we love Freedom Park! I especially appreciate the clean bathrooms and the fact that there is SHADE at this park! Just be aware, there are wood chips so dress those feet accordingly.

Nice clean park but hate that the playground floor is covered in wood chips. Never know what unexpected item could be hiding in it possibly(thankful for no bad experiences here) and kids always complain of splinters getting stuck in shoes, clothing, or skin. Great place for little kids if that doesn't bother you otherwise not a good playground setup for kids over 5yrs. Playground is on the kiddie size. Nice dog park and fields.

This place could be a great park if people would just follow the rules and use a little bit more intelligence.  Too many people bring treats and hang out by the gate.  3 times this week a guy brings his white hounds and feeds them when cans of food...

This Palm Desert park has much to offer. There is an enclosed Dog Park; a walking trail; Basketball courts; Softball fields; Soccer fields; Pickleball courts; Sand Volleyball; Children playground; and a large parking lot. So why a 2 rating? The park has been taken over by people who are being privately paid to teach, mostly young children, how to play a sport. But more importantly, so many people let their Dog off their leash outside the Dog Park. There is no monitoring of the Dog leash law and soon, like Civic Center Park, a pup or person is going to get hurt.
