Love this place. It’s like the old school typical neighborhood take-out places back home in Brooklyn. Don’t come expecting something fancy who cares really, for take-out?. But it’s family run, super nice people, great variety and the food is consistently very tasty. If I had any complaint it would be the portions are a wee bit small for the price; but at least the prices are reasonable, particularly compared to some of the fancier places in the area. I’m already a repeat customer. I don’t get the negative comments except my guess is these people don’t know good basic Chinese food from a simple take-out place. Strong recommend from a Chinese food fanatic for 30+ years.
It’s really unfortunate because the food is pretty good, but the worker/owner is horrible ! I asked for a lunch combo with a soda no eggroll like I have at many Chinese restaurants he heard me and said OK that’s fine and then after charging me refuse to give me the soda …. This is also the same worker that I asked to pay extra for him to add some extra sauce and he refused to do so even when I was more than willing to pay for it? He just says “ No, No, No “ Poor customer service , I tried giving them another shot after a whole year away and I see nothings changed ! Also very impatient so know your order right away or he will start yelling at you
first time and last time customer. the rice is soft, discolored, and very old. They are one of those businesses that do not throw anything away and make a profit from everything. If something is old, throw it away. That way you don't win customers and the place doesn't look hygienic.
Ordered the orange chicken and wonton soup. Really liked how the chicken was not breaded, there was a lot of food and flavor was good! Wished there were vegetables in the rice but I liked that it had egg.
Great customer service. And In my opinion the best shrimp fried rice in Seminole heights.
My husband ordered the chicken lo mein and can’t stop saying “the noodles are cooked to PER-FEC-TION.” With the hand gesture, I’m sure you can picture it. Friendly and fast!
So every time I order from this place there is always an issue, for the price they charge they barely give you any rice, the food portions are very small. I also have tried to work it out with them to let them fix their errors and they don’t. The other day I ordered from them they brought me shrimp fried rice, I’m allergic to shrimp so I called them to have my order corrected. So they sent the delivery man back to my home to pick up the order they messed up, mind you it’s still COVID regulations and I’m pretty certain they’re not supposed to take anything back from a customer’s house but you know I still kept an open mind. I am highly allergic to shell fish, I couldn’t eat anything in the plate, they accused me of eating the food and gave me a very difficult time about remaking my order and when they did send me a new order they put the same chicken that was in the plate with the shrimp in the new order. So I ended up having to give it away I couldn’t even have it, for an hour of sweet and sour chicken with vegetable fried rice, that I paid $16 for I couldn’t even eat. This isn’t the first issue that I’ve had with this place and moving forward I will never return and I won’t order again. I recommend China Wok on Armenia if you’re in the 33604 zip code.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided fast service, decent conversation, and plenty of smiles. Their bathroom is severely lacking, but the fact that they have one that is accessible to customers is an added bonus. Their food is piping hot and pretty decent I got général tsao chicken, which is splendidly spicy! and the crab Rangoon is some of the best I've ever had, including from fine dining establishments. Great job, guys! I'll definitely be back!
This is the kind of take-out Chinese food you crave. Cooked well. Good flavors and the price is right.
If you are looking for real authentic fried rice, this is the place to go. For years I searched for the fried rice I use to eat in Chicago white rice turned brown, onion, egg and bean sprouts. I kept running into places with yellow rice never heard of this kind of Chinese fried rice. I found Fried Rice King and fell in love with the rice. The family is always pleasant and the wait is not long. If you are looking for the real taste of fried rice, I highly recommend Fried Rice King!
