They have a great selection of fish. However, I visited this location twice with the intention to buy fish. The first time, the guy that work in the fish department, Zack, was rude and would not help. He appeared to be drunk or not feeling well. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as everyone has a bad day now and then. I came back today, ready to buy fish. Once again, Zack was rude and appeared as if I was bothering him. When I asked another employee about his actions and rudeness, I was told to "not take it personally". If you don't want to provide customers service, perhaps you should rethink your profession in customer service.

Always had great service there! Whether it's admiring the puppies in the play rooms or taking home a new furry friend! I recently got a ferret from them and they were super helpful and accommodating to my needs. Highly recommend!!!

Sold me a very sick $1,100 kitten with no returns. I was hoping he would get better, but he's getting worse. I took him to the vet only to find out he has cataracts in one eye, worms, parasites and an ear infection. The puppy/kitten records check list they give are just random, untrue marks.

I adopted a cat from friendly pets about a year ago. When I took him home, I realized he was sneezing and had a stuffy nose. He had a bare pink patch of skin where his fur should be, which eventually spread to most of his body and became bloody. I had seen cats here before, sneezing and with goop coming out of their eyes. Friendly pets will readily sell these animals to you with no warning. They will blatantly LIE and claim that the animal`s medical records are all clear. When I asked if one of their animals was okay, they told me they were fine and that they were getting better..they clearly were not. The cat that I adopted from Friendly pets, Howie, shared this illness with all of my other cats at home (two of which became deathly ill). One of those two died yesterday. Animals can not be kept in conditions like this: caged, and overcrowded, in their own excrement..passed around to strangers like toys. Illness in this kind of atmosphere is inescapable. Visiting or purchasing anything from this store contributes to animal cruelty. Do not go to or support Friendly pets, they are disgusting.

Best pet store in the entire Triad! Don't listen to any of the negative reviews, I worked here as a teenager about 17 years ago, I've shopped there ever since and I can say with a depth of knowledge that any negativity about the place is coming from uninformed folks. Zack, Mark's son, is doing an amazing job with the fish, reptiles and arachnids since his dad passed him the torch. Shop local and support the little guys! Only place I'll stock my tank from!
