My first time at Gaidos was a very pleasant experience. Our waiter Benjamin was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. I had the grilled Wahoo with a buttered crab topping which was succulent. The fish was cooked to perfection along with a side of asparagus. The house bread is made with cheese and pepper and is melt in your mouth delicious. Served with garlic, herbs and olive oil. I took a bread pudding to go and ate it on the beach. The portion is big enough to share. We were seated at 4:30 PM with no wait. You can make reservations online if you want to secure a table. It's a very popular restaurant. There are a lot of historic photos in the lobby and around the dining area. Good place to go on a date night.

This Restaurant was the highlighted event after a long car ride for my Mother's 78th Birthday. This is the Restaurant she remembered for excellent food and excellent service. Unfortunately, although the bartender/to-go worker assisted others at the bar with food and drinks - he never stopped to acknowledge me. I stopped one of the Server's co-workers to ask what I needed to do to receive service. Finally, the Bartender acknowledged me after his busy co-worker greeted me, stopped to assist me, and asked the Bartender to help me. The food was delicious - however, walking into an establishment to be completely ignored is a choice I will not make again.

Vidal was the absolute best. I went in 25 minutes before closing and apologized and he did not let me feel rushed or that I inconvenienced him at all. He was gracious and knowledgeable. The food and wine were excellent with superb service. White tablecloths and napkins and a classy fine dining experience, at reasonable prices.

Best Seafood Restaurant in Texas! All you have to do is try the lobster bisque! It's pricey but the service is impeccable and the food is simply the best! Drink are outstanding. Great for special occasions! Been eating here for over fifty years and have never ever been disappointed!

The atmosphere was very nice with wait staff dressed well and very attentive. Cocktails were delicious!! I enjoyed the peach Bellini. The food was wonderfully prepared and very tasty. This is a place to relax and enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends and family.
