The Spot Restaurant and its four bars, Tiki Bar, Side Yard, Squeeze Ritas & Tequilas and RumShack, are collectively known as “Island Famous” and are among the most popular dining and day & night life destinations on Galveston Island. I wish I could give this place no stars. Drinks were good but the rest of the experience was TERRIBLE (most importantly the very passive aggressive servers). Go there if you’re only ordering drinks

Really good margaritas with plenty of options on tequila and flavors. House margaritas are $4 during happy hour for 12oz. We always go upstairs after we get our drinks and then walk the plank to the Rum Shack for the view!! The food is ok but nothing to get excited about.

I have to give this place a 3 stars. Me and my husband decided to go to the squeeze bar we normally go to the spot, but this certain day, Sunday the 15th of October, we wanted a good margarita. The waitress greeted us very fast we were still looking over the menu at that moment. I thought awesome were going to have a cute waitress with great service. Well we ended up ordering 2 top shelf margaritas and the sampler. Well we waited around while everyone else was being served their drinks and they had ordered after us. Well the bouncer checking i.d.'s came to check on us, come to find out they were out of the tequila and had to go to the vault to get it out. Then our food "the sampler" came to our table, to give you an idea of how long we waited. Well first of all the waitress should have came and let us know and maybe brought some water to the table while we waited, because we were eating before we ever got a drink. Second, if your a tequila bar and all you serve is tequila maybe you should stock the bar up for the day that morning so people dont have to wait so long for their drinks. Then when we finally got our margaritas the waitress asks if we wanted to open a tab and we said "no this is all were going to have today thank you." She hands us our check for 44 dollars and says don't run cause I will get you, shaking her finger at us. Me and my husband looked at eachother in shock we have never been so disrespected while eating out.. we are very good tippers cause we have also been wait staff. But she crossed the line so we left 4 dollars. We would have probably had another margarita cause it was delicious and the food was pretty good, but the waitress by the name Celeste is the reason we give this place a 3 star rating and we were ready to leave after her disrespectful comment. We're not trash we can afford everything we order when we go out to eat and we tip 20 to 30 percent when we receive good- great service. We would go here for another great margarita and tip very well as long as we are not served by Celeste.

Bad service, mediocre food and drinks. Had to bus our own table, and the waitstaff didn't attempt to help or act appreciative. Our waitress disappeared after bringing our first round of drinks, and took forever to bring us our check. Despite the extensive selection, the margaritas are the same quality that you'd get at a chain like Chili's. I expected that a bar that specialized in tequila and margaritas would make something a little more exciting and flavorful, especially since the drinks weren't cheap.
