Welcome to Gainesville After-Hours Clinic.

Story

Gainesville After-Hours Clinic is an urgent-care and family medicine office located at the corner of NW 13th Street and 10th Avenue, just 10 blocks north of the University of Florida campus. We feature 4 experienced, UF-trained MD's board certified in family medicine and a nurse practitioner for your medical needs. Parking in our lot is free and our hours are as follows:

Monday 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuesday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Wednesday 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Hours vary but are typically a 4 hour block held within 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

OUR MISSION
We believe quality medical care should not cost a fortune. We also believe good healthcare should extend past 9-5. To these ends, we have created a clinic that features UF-trained physicians and exemplary care at a convenient price. Our goal is to provide you with the best medical care we can.

FAMILY PRACTICE
For ongoing health care needs, feel free to stop by as a walk-in or call us for an appointment. We routinely see patients for the following:
--Primary care
--DOT, annual, sports & routine physicals
--Weight-loss assistance
--Gynecological exams
--EKGs
--Drug screenings
--STD testing
--Referrals to specialists
--Medical wellness exams

URGENT CARE
We are also available for unexpected medical emergencies.
Walk-ins are welcome.

ADDICTION
Our doctors are trained in addiction medicine. Please call to see if openings for treatment are available.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
So that we may best serve you by keeping our overhead costs down, here is a list of primary insurances we currently accept:
--Medicare
--BCBS (PPO, HMO is assigned to us)
--United Healthcare (PPO)
--Avmed
--Tricare (Standard)

Additionally, we accept the following supplementary insurances (if a primary insurance also exists):
--Medicaid
--AARP
--Champ VA
--Any Medicare Supplement Insurance

If we do not accept your insurance, we will be happy to see you and provide you with a copy of your receipt, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Regular office visits are $70 without insurance, while first time Suboxone patients pay $105. Please bring your photo ID and proof of insurance to your first appointment.

I had a horrid experience here. I have 2 MRIs proving that I really AM hurt. & these peeps wouldn't even look at them, after making apt for me to come in?! Wth? They could've had courtesy to call 1st! They treated me like an addict, when I truly AM hurt!! So 😡! Horrible secretary up front, older with blonde hair. She's horrid! She verbally accosted me, after pulling me immediately into back, asking what I was being seen for. When I told her for he pain in my back, frozen the car wreck, Bc I have 3 herniated & slipped discs, & 2 annular cracks in spine (like the liberty bell 🔔 cracks).. in hurt bad, But have done my best to avoid the pain clinics as much as I can. After a year & a half (it'll be 2 years on march 16th), of being really really hurt, I finally pull my back out for the last time, & look for help, but no one will help me! These drs r cowards, truly. They're too scared to write anyone pain meds even when actually in pain! Even tho they said I didn't have to bring in my 2 MRIs from the he Millenial Center, I did, Bc I wanted them to Know that I was really hurt. The rude secretary wouldn't even let me talk to the dr! She said she spoke with him in back, but dr Gallogly drove up next to me after I left, & was crying on phone, & sitting on ground from the pain & distress of what just happened. This lady should be fired. She threatened to call cops 👮 on me, Bc I got upset they told me to come in for apt the next day at 6:45, so I did, & then she woulditn even let me to the back to see dr! She's messed up! Go anywhere else, unless you've been here already--the secretary is 1 of the rudest person I've ever met. & dr Raulerson & dr Gallogly will NOT take new patients & the whole experience is terribly upsetting. i will get help eventually, Bc I REALLY AM hurt & have the proof. Terrible place. Note, Dr Raulerson used to treat me at Shands Burn unit when I was a severe burn victim on over 30% of my body, & he was excellent! I was hoping he or dr Gallogly could be my pcp, since I can't seem to find a decent one on this planet--or that one of them could've referred me at least to physical therapy treatment (I've done PT at 2 places for about 7 months, & I do needless acupuncture & massage twice a month, but I can't take the constant nagging pain anymore, when my back is pulled.. I can't take care of my 6 year old (I home school her), not my home, while my husband works FT & goes to college taking difficult classes! (He met me up there after he got payed, to give me money for apt. They must've thought it was drug deal or something, Bc immediately when I walked in the door the secretary I think everyone keeps complains about, verbally accosted me--pointing her fingers & arms in my face! She's very disrespectful. Long story short, they don't help ANYONE IN PAIN ANYMORE, So if ur hurt & not already a patient, don't go here, not even for a "physical therapy referral"??? I thought Raulerson Or Gallogly could at LEAST do that for me! Espec Bc Raulerson helped me at Shands Burn Unit, & used to care about people! He acts like he already filled his quota & could care less about anyone now! Do NOT go here! I warned you!!

The best ever!! Cant say more,, Wendy Susan Julie and the staff are the best when you are sick and Doc. Raulerson is one of the best I have ever had as a Doc and I will never change the primary I have. If you want the best care, look no farther

Dr. Raulerson is an amazing physician. He treats his patients like human beings instead of a case file. His bedside manner is both reassuring and down to earth. My experience at his offices has been very positive over the last six months. I highly recommend him as a well informed and empathetic doctor.

Dr. Raulerson is an amazing person. Over all I feel he brings to the table a type of kindness and concern that makes his patients feel as if they all matter. He remembers you, and your situation. Rarely does he need you to remind him of facts about your medical needs. This review is based on Dr. Raulerson. Not his office staff. Since it does not ask for specifications about different aspects, I will tell you how I see it. d Dr. Raulerson deserves to be surrounded by office staff that are as compassionate and caring as he is. I understand that they are the buffer to the Dr. Himself. and this allows him to work efficiently, but the problem is, he instead is represented in a negative view. The people hired in the office are similar to McDonalds employees. They are overworked and hate their job. I have had one woman act as if me wanting a simple call informing me of a medication status, was going to cost her enormous amount of time. She even went as far as telling me that she takes her work home on the weekends and I would be adding to her already full tray. In my opinion it is not very nice to act as if you are dissatisfied with your position. Instead you should be directing your issues to your employer. And that person would be responsible for hiring additional help to a growing practice. To talk to the patients as if they dont have the right to need an appointment, or dont have the right to get a hold of their doctor is going to cost that Doctor money. Because he loses patients who don't wish to be treated in that fashion. For such a great Doctor I give him a five star... For his staff I give them a two... and that's because there is a woman, (I wish I knew her name) who is amazingly sweet and caring) there that holds herself to the same standard, she alone represents Dr. Raulerson in a good light.I also would enjoy the very much anticipated month ahead appointments availability. I hope that some one reads the reviews here. And that things change in the office. I would like to stay with Dr. Raulerson, but I am seriously ready to run because of the office staff.
