Dr. Galanis performed my LASIK in May. My recovery time was minimal, and it's a new life to be free of contacts/glasses! The staff is well-trained, efficient, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Galanis performed cataract and lens implant surgery on one eye, and I chose to do the other eye 5 months later. We all used patience to allow the first eye to live up to expectations (which it did 100%), and then I had the second eye done, with immediate expectations fulfilled. At age 70, I have near perfect vision, and am so thankful. The doctors and staff at Galanis Cataract & Laser Eye are tops in every way! They are faithful to follow up to the extent that you need it, and just going to the office is a very pleasant event!

I've always had a good experience with Dr. Galanis, he checks my eyes very thoroughly and is always pleasant. His office is run efficiently too. The other people who work there and help are very pleasant also.

If you are looking at this review for Dr. Galanis, then I can say, unequivocally, this was the best decision I ever made, going to this doctor to remove my cataracts. If you need more info, read on. I was a bit skeptical at first. I mean, after all, I never had cataracts before and no one ever touched my eyes. I need my eyes. I am a piano player for several churches. My first visit for the evaluation was met with a lot of waiting. Later on, I realized it was because of the special care they give everyone who walks through those doors. No one is rushed through. Everyone is treated with respect, given the utmost care on an individual basis, and made to feel as comfortable, at ease and at home to the best of their ability. From the receptionist, to the technicians and nurses, both at Dr. Galanis's office on Watson Road and The Eye Institute on Manchester Road, to the other doctors (mine was Dr. Barlow), to the last person you see to set up your next visit, I can say without a doubt, it was a wonderful experience. I am sure there are others out there that can do what he and they did. But to me, he is the best, his staff are the best, the doctors, technicians and his staff are all the best at what they do. So the decision for you should be to call them for an appointment as soon as you can and quit worrying. You'll be in good hands. You'll be able to sing the song, "I Can See Clearly Now, the Cataracts Is Gone!".

I have been going to Dr Galanis for many years for treatment of glaucoma. He has done surgery on my eyes and has done wonders. He is kind, skilled and caring. I would not trust my eyesight to anyone else.
