The history of Grant Medical Center is wonderful. I would like to tell you how I really feel...so here it is all there physicians and staff are the BEST.
The physicians and staff at Barnes Jewish Hospital in there entirety from the front door to dismissal in my experience are incredible except ONE and only he knows who he is no reason to blemish his reputation he is just doing me a favor to remove him shortly as my primary physician.

Love Dr V!  He is caring and attentive. Yes, the office is old and could use some major updating but overall is functional.

This is a horrible office to try and schedule an appointment with. Do not even attempt to do so. They are very impersonal. Asking for HIPPA protected information over the phone, which is a red flag for me. Then the staff member acts like I'm inconveniencing her in trying to schedule an appointment. Now Dr. Byrd may be a great physician, but his staff is atrocious. First impression is everything and they leave a lasting one. One that tells you to find another doctor with better staff. I'm a health care professional and to treat potential patients this way is inconceivable in my opinion.

I guess I had a really different experience from some of the other reviewers.  The office receptionist (not the main building receptionist) could stand some improvement regarding tone of voice (Don't call my name like you're my mother!), but the medical staff has always been friendly, patient, thorough and efficient.  The phlebotomist is also really great at her job.

Great experience! I've talked to Pam many times. She always keeps the Dr. in the loop. I also noticed they got a new phone system which is a huge improvement over the last one!
