New London's only Maritime Art Gallery
THE GALLERY AT FIREHOUSE SQUARE, historic New London’s only Maritime Gallery, is a striking, open space in a handsomely renovated building in the heart of the city’s bustling business and arts district. It's one block off the harbor and the Thames River, and surrounded by many other successful galleries and busy restaurants.
The owner, John S. Johnson, has been an avid collector of marine art during his professional business career, and has been very supportive of emerging young artists, particularly graduates of the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts.
THE GALLERY does not always hold a “salt water” flavor. We are looking for mostly representation imagery, but feel free to broaden our horizons!
