Maple and Main Gallery of Fine Arts, located at One Maple Street in art-oriented Chester, showcases the work of 40 or so established Connecticut artists in exhibits which change every two months.
The six-year-old gallery is housed on two floors in an iconic late 1700s structure built by Samuel Colt as a ship’s chandlery, and it accommodates 250 paintings and sculptures.
Our goal is not to have a singular point of view but to show as wide a selection of superior art in all mediums and styles as possible.
