There are good Gamestops and "eh" Gamestops, I've had good experiences at this one. Store is on the small side and staff is sometimes spread thin (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but always willing and able to answer questions. They have been a great resource for information on games suitable for my kids and it's never a hassle if I have a problem with something I've purchased from them. No high pressure sales tactics either, which is appreciated!

For this being the only local GameStop in Carbondale I think they carry themselves very well! They have a nice selection of games available, and that's saying something for most GameStops these days. Most GameStop stores are always missing a game or something I need. But not this one! Their customer service is almost always great! ALMOST! The woman who I believe is the manager (if she still is the manager/works there) needs to re-evaluate her people skills. Back when Batman Arkham Knight was in the process of coming out, while visiting the store I would ask her questions about the game or the promotional posters they had in the store. The manager would talk down to me in an unfriendly tone and an almost disrespectful way. Other than that all of the other employees I have come into contact with have excellent customer service. Last week I needed a case for my recently purchased copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue. The previous GameStop, in Chicago, I purchased it from only had a default Playstation 2 case available with no artwork. The game was for the PS3 yet I was stuck with this ugly and worn down case. I was left unsatisfied. Seeing that this GameStop in the the University Mall had a few copies of this game, in their respectable cases, I asked the employee at the register if I could purchase the case by itself. She told me that she'd be right back and to wait at the register. She comes back with a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prolouge case (artwork, booklet, and all) and says I can have it for free. I appreciate this so much. I never bother to write reviews for stores unless my experience was really bad or really good. This obviously was a good experience and I just want to say this store and it's employees deserve a round of applause. That employee knows how to please customers and I believes she deserves some recognition for it.
