A rare gem in St. John's County, it is not hard to find anything at all in this store... it is actually an amazing set up for someone with unique visions. Instead of being set up like a Corporation, it is set up like an actual living experience. Some items may be high priced, but not OVER PRICED, you pay for what you get... I would definitely recommend Garrett Brothers to anyone, they gained a customer for life.

First things first - The whole reason to pull off the street was the actual furniture store 2 doors down. This store was at the end of the same parking lot. The good: a store space stuffed with consignment items, both furniture and tons of nick-knacks and decorator accessories. Most items are consignment/used and a few new items mixed in. Furniture styles are are mixed. Not a place to find that complete bedroom set. Although was never approached for a "do you need help", several employees working around the store and it wouldn't be hard to attract anyone's attention. With that being said... The bad: It's an overloaded store-space. I would be hard pressed to call and ask "Do you have..." and expect them to be able to find it. The ugly: This store is TOO expensive for the items being sold. Ex. (remember first-things-first above?) In the front window of this consignment store is *the* same exact item that prompted me to go to the furniture store 2 doors down. This item - New and not on sale for a reduced price - and as advertised by the furniture store's website - was marked $50 *more* as a used item at the consignment store. Summary: A rare find may be had, but it will take a lot of digging to get there. Items are more "antiqued" than "antique".
