Oh wow. This place is unusual to say the least. The decor is Swiss chalet with 70s attitude. The food is amazing. Simple and elegant. I experienced some of the best service in this restaurant that I have ever had. I can't recommend Gastronome enough. Oh, there is also outdoor seating.

Charming, cozy restaurant with delicious food. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I'm not sure if she was the owner or manager or both, but she was SO friendly and instantly put a smile on my face. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

My favorite restaurant in Idyllwild. Service always so attentive and genuine. Food on point. The French onion soup and Thai pasta our favorite. It is a cannot miss spot if you are in Idyllwild.

Cute place nestled in the mountains with a sophisticated menu featuring fresh foods and interesting sauces. Fairly priced. Worth what you pay. I had fresh caught halibut with pineapple and macadamia nut topping, ample spinach salad and smoky delicious twice whipped potatoes. A good sign was the restaurant is mostly filled with locals. Nice patio service and cozy, inviting interior

Great place to take guests. Know that everyone will enjoy their steaks, salads and deserts. They're reliable and constituent with their wonderful food and service.
