Good luck trying to reach the practice by phone...it’s virtually impossible. It comes as no surprise to me that the practice is rated 2.1 out of 5! It’s next to impossible to actually talk to a human being in the office, due to the high call traffic. Perhaps the doctors are more worried about the practice’s p&l and bottom line, than the quality of service afforded to it’s patients. Does the cost of hiring more staff to address this problem really outweigh the benefit to the patient, or is profitability more important to the practice that the needs of the patent are callously disregarded?

The doctors there are warm and caring and are genuinely excited about treating you. Office staff is generally helpful and will go the extra mile when they have what they need to go to bat for you. I would refer anyone to them.

I'm sorry to say, I'm rescheduling with a different specialist. I really don't want to go through the process of finding another doctor and paying another specialist co-pay, but this place is not the place for compassionate assistance, or at least not from the Doylestown location's only female doctor. 
After being diagnosed by the hospital with new diverticulitis, my appointment with Dr Bosse couldn't have been more unpleasant. She didn't listen, she didn't answer the questions I asked her or her answers were extremely unhelpful (the answer to the question "when should I transition from low-residue to high, and how quickly can I reincorporate high-fiber foods" should be more extensive than "eat oat, take benefiber.") 
She focused on my weight, implied that she did not believe me when I explained in accurate and painstaking detail the sort of diet we have. 
Yes, I know, I carry extra weight, and no, I don't "constantly snack at my desk"... thank you for assuming that. It's also very difficult to take a doctor seriously when she tells me that I cannot have a bottle of water at my desk (water being an excellent appetite suppressant). She was so focused on telling me how to eat less junk food and eat less frequently, that she didn't listen to me telling her my actual habits. Or maybe she straight-up didn't believe me. 

In 2018, doctors should be focused on compassionate, focused and attentive healthcare - listen to your patients. Stop weight-shaming them at sacrifice of any other issues or symptoms. My PCP is wonderful, and we have calm, accurate discussions about health and diet and exercise while she remains focused on my primary issues for being there. 

It's possible the other doctors at this practice are great. The front desk admins were wonderful, patient, and helpful. I just wish Dr. Bosse didn't leave me with zero confidence, comfort or trust in her capacity to treat me.

IF ONLY I COULD GIVE NO STAR. THE WORST PLACE EVER! WARNING!!! FIND ANOTHER GI SPECIALIST. THIS IS FOR A SELECTED GROUP NOT ALL EMPLOYEES WORKING HERE ARE IN THIS CATEGORY. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SPECIALIST THAT I VISIT WITH NOR THE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST; A VERY SWEET LATINA WOMEN. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY WORK WITH SUCH MISABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE. THE MANAGER THERE (SUE), REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME THE CONTACT INFORMATION TO HER BOSS; AND I'LL QUOTE HER "I AM THE OFFICE MANAGER THERE'S NO ONE ELSE TO TALK TO BUT ME!" SHE'S BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL BOTTOM LINE DISRESPECTFUL. MAYBE THIS IS WHERE THE SELECTED GROUP GETS THEIR BEHAVIOR. I DID GET IN CONTRACT WITH PATIENT ADVOCATE. THIS TYPE OF PATIENT CARE WILL NOT CONTINUE WHEN I'M THROUGH. LEARN PROFESSIONALISM, COMPASSION AND UNDERSTANDING.

It's difficult to deal with the office staff. They are definitely not helpful unless pushed hard.
