I have had 2 bad experiences with this company. We ordered the motor on Thursday and paid $167.50 for overnight delivery because we needed the part on Saturday for installation in a security gate. We thought all was well due to the crazy price of shipping, but when I called on Friday to confirm they said Saturday delivery is not an option for them. This process happened in email and I asked them to cancel the order before it had shipped. My email shows I canceled the order 23 minutes before the product was processed by UPS, then she responded to me the moment it was processed. My email show the timeline and the tracking number shows the time it was processed. Once it arrived it was already to late for installation and was rejected for return. I contacted them and spoke with Josh to try and explain the process and work through the return, but as I was speaking I was rudely interrupted and not allowed to finish a sentence. He then went to attacking me and accusing me of saying they promised something that they hadn't. I had to raise my voice to get him to stop talking so that I could explain what was happening. Multiple times he interrupted and would not let me finish a sentence. I replied by telling him if he would not let me finish my sentence I would need to speak with the manager, at which point he informed me that he was the General Manager. We went round and round and I told him I would send him the emails and he would get back to me. When he called back he told me I was wrong and continually interrupted my sentences in order to stop me from sharing the evidence I had. Even though my email clearly shows I requested to cancel the order 23 minutes before it was processed he was adamant that I had it all wrong. If this is the way their business is run I will not do business with them and I encourage others to search for other businesses to purchase their gates/gate parts from.

Think long and hard before even choosing these guys. Their product seems ok. However, in a very competitive field, where the consumer has multiple options gate depot should be avoided like the plague. They seem to have absolutely no grasp on customer service. I was shopping for a gate and was told conflicting and incorrect information about their products. The service rep "Ashley" seemed to have zero interest in giving me correct information or to answering any of my questions. When I actually went ahead and purchased, then they started to fabricate stories in order to allow them to inflate the shipping costs astronomically. I even tried to speak to their manager "Josh" - who genuinely embraced the mastery of taking rudeness to a whole new level. He personally insulted me when i was requesting clarification on their charges. Its 2016 guys. I guess if you don't do your research you may notice how bent their service, but if you do, you'll certainly do better to pay a bit more up front and save more down the road. there's no way I can get my time back that I lost dealing with individuals. Lesson learned. I was attracted by the low pricing, but eventually was almost suffocated by the stench of the interaction. Caveat emptor. I feel that the single star awarded is simply too much. Zero stars if it were possible.

I had a very bad experience with this company today. I called looking for a part for a gate. Specifically a motor. It is a Viking gate access control unit. Ashley answered the phone and I quite literally explained what I needed 3 times and she very slowly spoke to me like I was challenged, the-whole-thing-is-a-motor. It is not. Yes I lost my temper, yes I said things I should not have. But if this company relies on sales, Ashley is really not the person to be trusted with that responsibility. I called back to apologize to Jenn Ward, who lists herself as Head of Sales, for my behavior and she was just as bad. I would suggest searching out any other company that carries the parts you need if you can. They are unapologetically unprofessional. At least I apologized for my bad behavior. This company does not want to earn your trust or your money.
