The barbecue is incredible! Absolutely delicious. There isn't a lot of indoor seating, so plan to go when the weather is nice and enjoy the outdoor tables! My only complaint is that the cornbread was bland, dry, and not very sweet (I honestly recommend that Gateway just switch to using a cornbread box mix). Overall, we had a great experience, we will be back!

My husband and I live alittle over an hour away and when we go to taughannock falls we always grab lunch here . We normally LOVE the food but today we ordered two burgers ,a side of tots and ranch to dip to go. We went outside to wait and the guy brought our food out as If we were eatting there (simple mistake) . We then asked to have it bagged to go and he did that. When we got home we realized we were missing a side of tots both sides of ranch and my burger had onions(when I’m allergic to) and tomatoes which I asked to NOT be on the burger. Not really happy we were missing stuff we were charged for and weren’t able to enjoy this trips food

We called for lunch service. Sandy took my order, he was friendly, spoke clearly and was efficient. He even told us there would be a bit of a wait due to a rush in orders. Delivery was fast and the delivery person was friendly and extra careful with our order. The food was delivered hot. We had burgers that were cooked to order. A little dry, but flame broiled. The fries were crispy and tasty. Not the best but not the worst place to order a burger.

The place It is located in a small shopping plaza it has a decent amount of parking however be careful some spots are marked for specific stores in the lot. Not sure how hard they enforce it but still an FYI. The place is very small maybe 10 seats plus they have tables outdoor. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day. However it is more of a takeout or delivery spot due to the limited seating. If you need to use the bathroom you need to get a key from the employee and go in the building hallway which is kinda weird. The food I went with some friends and was lucky enough to try a few items. I have the St Louis style ribs with the zucchini fries but also tried to pulled pork and brisket. My wife had the tator tots as her said which were solid. A nice addition to your normal sides. I have to say I was impressed. All 3 were above average especially the ribs I feel like most places I go and get ribs are a disappointment. Not here!!! All of the meats were flavorful and well done. The brisket was amazing also not overdone which happens far to often. The only thing that wasn't good is the cornbread. It comes with your meal and it was honestly terrible. So I wouldn't waste your calories. The verdict One of the best BBQ places in the area you wont be disappointed. I will definitely be back would recommend it. If fact I think its the best BBQ in Ithaca!

Best place for bbq!! Way better then fat jacks!! Have to try there Rubin!! The owner is super cool. Great prices.
