Story

Gateway's main campus is our pregnancy and sexual health resource center located at 1306 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, NC 27605.

* We also have a satellite campus supported by our Urban Partnership Initiative. Our satellite campus is at Idlewood Village Drive in south east Raleigh, in partnership with Upper Room COGIC.

Mission

Gateway is a faith-based non-profit organization committed to serving women and men in the community by providing medical, educational and support services and resources related to pregnancy and sexual health without condemnation or manipulation. We understand and respect that your pregnancy option decision is yours alone.

The first time I visited Gateway, I felt good about being there.  I sensed LOVE and comfort.  It will erase any nervous feelings you may have about speaking to or meeting the staff.  The Staff will greet you with a friendly and genuine smile.  If you need or know someone who needs a confidant to speak with about their sexual health and/or think you may be pregnant, Gateway is the place to contact.

If you are looking for a place that will care for you as a person, this is the place. The workers here are helpful and provide counseling, information, and support regardless of the decision you make concerning your reproductive health. 

It is a warm, inviting place that provides free sexually transmitted disease testing, pregnancy testing and ultrasounds that are administered by certified and trained nurses/ medical staff.

Wow. Amazing staff and service. By far the best hospital setting I've ever been to in my life. Incredible staff, beyond friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good about them.

I went to Gateway when I was in high school for a full panel of STI tests.  Although the results of my tests were accurate, the consultation they gave me included false information, and stigmatized LGBT identities.  After learning that Gateway is primarily a Crisis Pregnancy Center, I was not surprised, although I still feel personally misled by its staff.  I would recommend anyone seeking reliable information about their reproductive health to contact their PCP, Planned Parenthood, or a local abortion clinic instead of Gateway.
