I first met began seeing Dr. Meaghan Dishman back in 2007 out of her Portland, Oregon clinic. We had met at a local Crossfit gym and after discussing some of my health issues she invited me to come visit her for an evaluation and treatment. Within minutes of my first session with Dr. Dishman I knew she was a true gem. She was someone whom I could trust and someone who had the utmost integrity and passion in her work and her need and drive to help the people around her permeated throughout her whole being – inside and outside of the clinic. For the next two years I would continue to see Dr Dishman on a regular basis as my health continued to improve with her treatments and guidance through education about the body, recommended diet for my specific health issues, supplements, acupuncture and a whole assortment of other Chinese medicine practices. Over the past decade I have consulted with Dr. Dishman for numerous health issues and concerns, all the while we were both living on opposite coasts (she and her family moved to Raleigh, NC and I had relocated to Los Angeles). Even though we were not in the same city and I could not visit her for clinic treatments, she still treated me with the same thoughtfulness, care and warmth that I had experienced back in her Portland clinic. Taking the time to write detailed plans for suggestions, supplements, etc. – treating every patient she had with the same value and drive to bring holistic healing as well as education and guidance so that her patients can learn to lead healthier lives. Dr Meaghan Dishman is a true renaissance woman. She is constantly pushing herself to learn new skills and learn new intricacies of her craft, as well as keeping up to date on new developments and studies in her field. Aside from being a stand out in her medical practice, on a personal level she is never standing still and always moving forward to better herself and the lives around her. A certified teacher in both Gryotonics/Gyrokinesis and Yoga as well as a busy mother of twins! Her energy for life is not only inspiring, it is contagious! If you have the chance to work or consult with Dr Dishman, please consider yourself very fortunate. You can be confident that she will take you under her wing and help nurture you back to health. You will be in the very best of hands and for that we can all be grateful!!

I would recommend Dr. Meaghan Dishmann to anyone who is looking for a doctor that has their overall health and wellness in mind. In the time that I have known her she has demonstrated an extensive knowledge of both western and eastern medicine. She has been extremely thorough in her assessments of my medical condition. She is quite easy to talk to and very reachable by email and telephone. I’m glad she’s my doctor.

Dr. Meaghan Dishman is a knowledgeable and proven professional who I am so happy to have found. I came to her in an acute state after seeing numerous doctors who had been unable to help me improve and recover. Dr. Dishman was the first who said “I have some ideas, and I am hopeful.” I committed myself to her recommendations for me regarding diet and supplements, and I experienced almost immediate results. I am still recovering, but I have progressed tremendously. Through her kind, supportive manner, and her ability to listen carefully, she instills confidence and trust among her patients. She is able to bring together the big picture of your health along with what is going on at a cellular level to restore you to balance. I am grateful to Dr. Dishman, and I give her my highest recommendation.
