It is a known fact that obtaining insurance (of any type) in the U.S. can be a seriously complicated task requiring understanding of the Insurance rules, regulations, laws and application of those rules as they apply to your individual situation. My wife and I had been looking for Renter’s and Auto Insurance for a few months. I did my homework with about five major companies and was utterly disappointed with price and service quality on most of them. 

This is where I somehow stumbled upon our savior by the name of Matthew McCarthy. Matthew was everything once could possibly want from any service provider, not just an Insurance agent. 

For those who have not dealt with Matthew yet. Let me tell you He is a great professional who is warm, friendly, approachable, knows the insurance products inside out, a champion on the personal situations of his customers, and has an overall absolute pleasure to work with personality. 

Throughout my dealings with him, I strongly felt that He genuinely cared about protecting my best interests. He went out of his way to make sure I got all possible discounts that I was eligible for. Now, what more can one ask for? 

I am so glad I have found my Insurance agent that I would like to keep an ongoing relationship for life, for all my insurance needs moving forward.

The customer service at this location is absolutely amazing. Jay was the agent that helped me with my quote and helped me find something within my budget. Jay broke down everything for me in detail so I could understand. When I walked in the door there was no hesitation for them to assist my needs. All paperwork and payment was done within 10 minutes! I referred all my coworkers and family!!

I went with my sister to get renter's insurance. The process was quick and easy and the service was great. Shane was very helpful.

Jay Romero is an Agent at Geico who was very helpful in providing the necessary documentation and services that I needed! I would recommend anyone to this Geico location on Duke street, they will go out their way to help you!

As a dealership salesman, our options are limited on who we can call when we have customers after 7pm. After searching numerous insurance companies in the area on google and yelp one thing that was consistent was the high recommendations of GEICO NOVA on Duke Street in Alexandria, VA. I had a customer in my desk at 11pm, I called the office number hoping to leave a message for a callback for the next day, and I actually received an answer..at 11pm! Matthew, the agency owner, let me know that his licensed agent Shane would take care of my customer in the best way possible. The quote was offered and policy was sold within 15 minutes. Shane explained the coverages and the available discounts in detail, as well as reassuring my customer that he would be available whenever she needed help.  Shortly after I finalized her transaction, I called back and spoke with Jay, and got a policy of my own.
