Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Gemignani's Italian Restaurant has been serving the Keweenaw and Houghton County's since 1982. Family owned and operated, Gemignani's serves up authentic Northern Italian Cuisine over 300 days a year, using family recipes handed down through the generations. "Make our tradition, yours!"

Great italian place with a quality menu and fast service. they dining room is classy but small. great place for dates or close family meals. they offer a free birthday meal which is great!

It isn't like a big city, authentic Italian experience,  but the food is consistently delicious. Wines are usually decent quality, as well. I also have never experienced bad service here, staff are friendly and attentive. It's a small dining room,  so have a ready back-up plan just in case it's a full house when you arrive. Oh, and tomato sauces are on the sweet-side, and they seem to add a bit of cinnamon. I know folks have strong opinions about that style so it's worth noting. There are non-tomato options though,  so don't write them off. One of the better dining-out options in our area.

We love the quaint atmosphere of Gemignani's and the smoked salmon pasta can't be beat!!  I had Chicken Carbonara as a special once and it was amazing!  Wish that was a menu regular.

Good atmosphere, great service, and a lot of menu options. The marinara is a bit sweeter than I usually like it, but I'm also pretty picky so I can see a lot of people liking it more than I do. Would go again.

I liked the atmosphere of the place. It was a very welcoming restaurant and the service was extremely friendly. Pricing wasn't ultimately too bad considering that the taste was well worth it. Highly recommend trying the spiced walnuts!

Only reason for 4 stars is that the bathrooms were a bit cramped. It's understandable for the limited space, but it can cause a bit of claustrophobia to some.
