Great place for lunch. Their "Superior" sandwich might be the best ham & cheese sandwich I've ever had. Also, their baked goods are extremely delicious. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch them making the doughnuts and other things.

For a different sort of pasty, I enjoy the turkey, cranberry, stuffing and gravy. It's like a Keweenaw Thanksgiving. The Persians and deserts are fresh bakes, delectable and make spectacular treats. The sourdough bread is made from a 20-year-old-starter and it's a staple at our house.

One of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had! Great variety and assortment of pasties and other warm breakfast items, as well as an awesome donut and baked dessert selection. Very friendly staff, as well as great seating arrangements. Place is has plenty of room to sit down, as well as a unique modern look that makes it special. It's also situated right on the river so you can eat and look out in the river! A must-stop breakfast café whenever you're in the Upper Peninsula.

Love your bakery and now you guys are my new heroes since you have a hard-to-get Republic of Tea flavor (Cranberry Blood Orange Black Tea). If you are reading this review don't buy that tea though...they're all mine!

Hands down the best pasties in the UP. Super buttery crusts & the turkey cranberry and chicken chedar are incredible!
