This place is amazing, if you love reading the library have more than 3000 books, you'll sense the smell of old books when you arrive, there are many tables where you can sit and enjoy your reading, for free. You'll also have Wi-Fi and many food options outside the building. Take your camera, you're going to love this place and please do not disturb the readers.

Built in 1870s, this library is amazing place for any book lover. With collection of little over 300 thousands volumes, when one enter in the main reading room, one can sense the fragrance of books. The architecture of the library is unique and it amazes the senses when one actually witnesses the main reading room. Library is very well preserved by the staff and staff is very nice and respectful.

George Peabody Library is located near Washington monument and Emmanuel Episcopal Church which adds beauty to that place.

A must visit place whenever you visit the Baltimore, MD. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Worth a quick stop in to see why everyone snaps a picture. There's also a small exhibit space just inside that curates some of the cool stuff the library has collected over the years. If you're already in the area, check it out! Great rest from the heat on a muggy Baltimore summer day.

This is one of the great architectal and intellectual spaces of the world. Walk back in time in the architecture and look at one of their incredible manuscripts. It's all free as well!
