The mission of the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is to provide comprehensive library services to the eligible blind and physically handicapped residents of the State of Maryland.
The Maryland State Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped is Maryland's only public library for those with are unable to read standard print. As a network library of the National Library Service, the MD LBPH's mission is to make print materials accessible to all Marylanders through digital talking books, Braille, and digital download.
The Maryland Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped is a division of the Maryland State Library.
