I don't usually write reviews -- but that being said, I also don't usually spend over $20 on a haircut. I'm sure it was obvious when I walked in that I had never been to a full-service salon before. The Hair Cuttery had never really been my friend, but at the very least, it's what I could afford when I needed a quick cut. I booked an appointment with John, and even though I knew everyone could tell I didn't really 'belong' in that atmosphere, they were all very friendly and welcoming, and John did a bang-up job on my hair. I plan on going here in the future.

I've had positive experiences with every stylist at this salon. I regularly see Brooke Morgan, who's terrific. She's very patient (I've changed my hair color a LOT the last few years) and she's very accommodating. Isabel a lot for my job and rely on blowouts in other cities. I love it when people ask me where I get my hair done in DC and complement the color and style!

I've been a client of Lakresha M for over 10 yrs. As always she is a true professional and can work with any texture hair. Aveda is a clean and professional environment that is fitting for her. I'm not surprised she choose to be there and I'm glad she is. Aveda has a plethora of hair lines to choose from which lets her work her hairstyling magic.

Excellent services performed by hairstylist Lakresha Mitchell. Excellent customer service from everyone. I would recommend this salon to anyone. Lakresha is the best make a appointment with her as soon as possible.

Lakresha is an EXCELLENT stylist. She was punctual, I didn’t have a wait. She was professional but the experience was also fun!
