I worked with Daniel on a Lawline presentation titled "Building a Law Practice Brick by Brick."  Daniel is a great public speaker and a wealth of information for the legal community (oh, and one funny guy!) I have no doubt that he does great work for his clients in both the real estate and bankruptcy arenas.

Dan is an excellent lawyer.  To paraphrase Kenny Rogers: he knows when to hold ‘em, when to fold ‘em, when to walk away, and when to run. He is intelligent, levelheaded, fair, has an excellent bedside manner, and is an unusually good communicator.  

A little background: my wife and I retained his services in late summer 2013.  My wife needed to sell her stake in an apartment she owned with her mother and stepfather from whom she was, and is, estranged.  Dan asked us in the beginning of the process to be clear with ourselves about what we wanted to get out of the situation.  Basically, we needed enough money from the sale to make a down payment on a house, and we needed the process to be as quick and painless as possible.  (We have a toddler and wanted to get the proceedings over with and then get on with our lives).  He never lost sight of our goals even when we did.  In the end, he got us a good settlement, but even more importantly: he steered us clear of a morass which at the time threatened to consume our lives.  To do this, he counseled us against litigation, depriving himself a great deal of money.  My takeaway: he’s not just a great lawyer, but a real human being as well.  

My wife and I are now disentangled from an awful situation, and in a home that we absolutely love.  I’m so glad that we retained his services – this all could have gone very differently.

If you’re thinking about calling, do it.  Even before putting your credit card number down, you’ll likely feel what I did when I first spoke to him: relief … and hope for the future.

I was referred to Daniel Gershburg by a friend. As a great believer in word of mouth - I find this the best way to find a professional :-) Unfortunately before I met Daniel I was burned by an attorney who did not do much but charged every minute he was talking with me. I did not appreciate that attitude, and was happy to learn from Daniel that he doesn't either. Daniel gave me a fair quote for my club's membership agreement - Sailors NYC. Daniel and his team worked professionally, meticulously and completed the job at a timely manner. I highly recommend anyone who is considering hiring him to go ahead with it. I will surely recommend my friends and family who will need legal services and plan to use him in the future. Keep on doing the good job!

From the moment I walked into Mr. Gershburg's office, I felt at ease.  He and his associates took their time to address all of my questions comprehensively, and I was never left in the dark as to what was going on in my case.  Mr. Gershburg and his associates go out of their way assure that the difficult emotional process of having to declare bankruptcy, is as seamless as possible.  The follow through is outstanding, and you are not just a forgotten client, once your case is closed.  They were very professional in answering other questions that I had, once my case was completed.  Highly recommended and worth every penny! Would use again, but hopefully will never get to that point again :)
