Giant Foods located in Kentlands MD is an older grocery store.  It has a good variety of produce, meat, poultry and fish. It also has an in house  bakery. Other items such as cleaning products are also available.
 There is a large parking lot which is always busy.

Decent supermarket.  Nothing fancy but they are pretty good size with everything you need just none of the special stuff you see in stores like this these days.

I have been shopping at the Kentlands giant for 20 years now and I have been filling all my meds at the pharmacy. My son takes a lot of meds and when they all see me coming they have them all pulled out for me and ready to go when I get to the counter. They are amazing. The pharmacist are amazing always helpful and wonderful to work with. The front desk staff is amazing too. Derrick in the back always goes the extra mile and Terrance he is wonderful. He goes above and beyond to help get me checked out and home to my sick family. I will not go anyplace ekse. Thank you to all my pharmacist family.

This is a very large, great Giant to shop at which offers everything from your standard generic or name brand groceries to fresh local fruits in season, imports of all kinds, natural and holistic foods, and a pharmacy area with a large variety of over the counter products including gerneric, holistic and name brand options and Vitamins and a full service RX pharmacy with a full time pharmacist. 1 warning though, since this pharmacy and the store location is very, very busy and popular, be prepared for a longer than usual wait time for your prescriptions. 
However wait time at the registers is always pretty fast since they offer 7 self check out registers and always open extra full service registers too when they're really busy espec on weekends and are always ready to help with anything. 
Their help service desk also offers Western Union money orders and lottery tickets and they have the nicest staff always ready to be of assistance.
