New store has a good layout. Good sales on meat. Produce selection is a bit lacking. Get more variety and less multiple types of the same item (organic & regular).

Went into Giant last Friday night looking to find some organic red potatoes for dinner. Unfortunately, they were out of stock and I asked the young man working in the section if they had anymore. He checked in the back and informed me that they were out, but offered to sell me a bag of regular red potatoes for next to nothing to apologize. Normally I wouldn't choose anything non organic but it was such a good deal. Although I didn't get what I wanted I went home with a steal. Would definitely recommend.

I've honestly tried to give this place a fair shot and you may wonder, "How did a grocery store even earn 2 stars? What is there to screw up?"

Rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful employees. And it isn't JUST the college kids that work there...

There is one older woman who works late night when only the self serve is open l. She will personally ring out her friends while ignoring the self serve, and makes racist comments about other customers. Several times I have had to tolerate other employees carrying on their own conversations while I struggle at check out. I've asked for help locating an item and been ignored. I've asked for item availability only to be directed to an antiquated kiosk that clearly wasn't set up for customer use.

Giant is cheaper, has a larger selection, and is closer to my house than Weis, but 9/10 times when I go to Giant I remember why I don't go there.

The only reason they get a second star is because there is a nice young gentleman who works (or did work) in the produce (maybe seafood?) area that has helped me out when I was struggling to find things in other areas.

I've tried to file complaints, but was not able to get in touch with anyone that could help.

I'll keep going to Giant when absolutely necessary (and for the fabulous salad bar), but until I see something that knocks me off my feet I'll keep going to We is.

This is the newest Giant Food Store in the area.  Good selection especially the organic/natural products.  Many students from the nearby university are seen shopping here at the Kutztown Giant Foods Store.  Gas is also available but not diesel which can be purchased at Sheetz down the street.
