There's good things coming out of this kitchen!   Hope to return soon. 

The first good sign was the side salad that came with the entree. Side salads at many places are a sorry affair of iceberg lettuce and a shriveled grape tomato, but this one had all fresh, green lettuce, plus broccoli, mushrooms, and a balsamic vinaigrette that tasted homemade.  In the entrees, the scallops and shrimp were nicely cooked, not overdone.  NY strip steak was good, too, and the baked beans were homemade.  The desserts were outstanding: the warm fruit crisp tasted like something your grandma made for you, and they put the ice cream in a separate dish so it didn't melt into the crisp.  The cheesecake was amazing: very fresh, and if not homemade, then most definitely not your run-of-the-mill hard, packaged cheesecake from the fridge. 

Friendly service and a comfortable, cozy interior, plus a large porch for outdoor seating.  Nice, big beer list and drinks menu, and an inexpensive kids menu that includes dessert, too.

Great menu and a lot of selection. Staff is always on point. Quality food, ive never had a bad meal and I've eaten here more then can count. A lot is made on premises (homemade) which is a plus. The deck is nice in the summer. Gets packed on weekends and at dinner but they have a decent amount of seating.

I went to Osgood's just after 6pm on Friday 5/11/18 and sat at the bar with the intention of having dinner. 

The bartender was nice and professional. I ordered a chopped steak (medium rare) at 6:15pm. At about 6:50pm the bartender informed me that there had been a problem in the kitchen and my order was lost but I would have the food in about 10 minutes. At 7pm I was served and the food was raw to medium rare. Apparently the kitchen rushed the cooking. The bartender apologized but I asked for the drink check, paid it with a tip and left.

Not much else to add except that I live out of town and had been traveling since 4am and was tired and hungry.

Our server William was great. Moved us from our tiny 2 top to a 6 in bar with great view. Prime rib was delicious! Cod app was crunchy, bursting with juicy flakes and delicious..a meal in itself. My special request spinach was the best I've had, large fresh deep green leaves with nice glaze of oil exactly as i wanted and not overcooked! 5* meal. That's why we are coming here for Valentine's Day too ❤

Great place, good food every time! Very big menu all made to order and plenty to.eat. Nice bar and patio in front.
