My wife got chicken wings, yams and mac and cheese. I got 2 BBQ ribs and a mustard rib. The flavor was normal. Nothing special. My wife thought they were good. The red beans and rice are similar to Popeyes (to my taste)....and the mac and cheeses is EXCELLENT.

At the end of day, restaurant's keep customers by the quality of their food.  In my opinion, Gibson's is the best soul food restaurant on the east side of Pittsburgh.  I am so glad I found them 2 days ago and tried them today.  I had their ribs, macaroni & cheese, and yams.  I would've taken pictures, but the food was so good it was hard to stop eating! Someone's grandma is in that kitchen cooking with love and I'll be back for a another serving of her food and warm smile!

Gibson's Take out... Good food, but they should watch the salt during cooking. I had ordered meatloaf once, but their was so much salt I couldn't finish or really enjoy it. OK. Thanks.
