We go here every Thursday for date night.   And that is saying a lot!  Because if we dont like someplace, we wont go back.  They have a new dessert chef and there are new and delicious desserts every week.  Love the ambience.  Very nice people!

I went to celebrate a special occasion on a Saturday night at about 7pm. There was no wait time, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and our waitress was great.  The food was good! Hot and fresh. My best part of the meal were the roasted peppers they bring as an appetizers and that vanilla bean cheesecake. They don't cheat you in the quantity or quality of food. I barely ate my main dish because I full. You. I do plan on going back.

I would highly recommend Gino's to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal.  Besides the warm bread, they also treat you to an order of marinated sliced green peppers for starters.  The lemon rice soup was so tasty also.  I ordered the Rigatoni Vodka for my entree and it had way more Italian sausage mixed in than I could have hoped for.  The prices are reasonable, the service was good and the atmosphere was nice and cozy.

Old school Italian. The fresh bread, peppers and oils are wonderful and free. Lunch is delicious and dinner is wonderful. You can go reasonable price, or you can go downtown Chicago big. The staff is TOPS.

Just had Valentine's day dinner with the Misses. I don't like to make excuses but the cool obviously was overworked! My food came out lukewarm and my wife absolutely hated her pasta dish! They had live music which was great and our server was good, it's just that the food wasn't anything to write home about. Also, the wait for the food was long. I understand that this is a holiday but staff accordingly. I won't dissuade you from eating here...but be advised there are better options available. Probably will not eat here again
