The food is excellent. However, some employees seem to be unable to take an order properly. We love the food but the hassle of having our order made incorrectly sometimes causes us to go elsewhere for dinner.

Giovanni's has been my favorite pizza place in Bemidji for over a decade. The uncooked pick up pizza is still pretty affordable at $7.80 for a large 14" (it was $6.20 back in 2005). The pepperoni is very good, but it's the bacon (breakfast type) topping that makes the 15 mile drive into town worth it.

Passing through town and saw the good reviews. We stopped in for a late lunch and weren't disappointed. We tried the Giovanni's specialty pizza and Fettuccini chicken Alfredo. Both were excellent. Definitely recommended and we'll be back the next time we're in town. 

Edit: Back again this year. It's become our annual visit when we take the kids to Concordia for camp. Still excellent food, some of the beat buffet pizza I've ever seen. No skimping out here. It their regular pizza on the buffet. The Tomato Basil soup is amazing. I could fill up just on that.

Very nice. I had the buffet and it was delicious, warm and, had a homemade tasting pizza.

Another fantastic visit to Giovanni's!  We always stop on the way to El Lago de Basque Concordia Spanish Village.  The kids love having lunch before heading to camp.  I love the Tomato Basil Soup. Great options on the salad bar.  Fresh hot pizza.
