A unexpected treasure!!! We visited last week and was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful mansion now converted into a museum. It has beautiful stain glass windows that has been built on site and are replica of stain glass windows from European Churches. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The variety of artifacts and attention to details are impeccable. It also houses the pieces collected by the family from Egypt , Greece and other parts of the world. Definitely worth the time in the beautiful surrounding !!! Will be definitely going back during their Fall festival for various activities and special tours.

At first I was a bit confused, when I heard the word Museum in the name of this attraction. I thought it was just that... a museum. It turns out this was a house that that Carin family lived in...did I say house I should say Mid evil Castle! I was on the only tour of the day. That day it was at 2.30, but call for hours as I don't know how they run in the summer. I was one of three. The docent was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She took us all over and made sure to explain and let us look at each room. I though it was so good I became a member just so i could go again! the tour lasted from 2:30 to 4:00. I hope you all get a chance to go and enjoy, i sure enjoyed my time there.

The experience here is very unique. The museum actually used to be a house but has now been converted into a museum. Full of very cool artifacts. Only downside is that the tour is very quick and hard to explore around this huge building.

Nice little museum. The star of the show is the building itself though.
