The Philadelphia Museum of Art is outstanding, it is on par with the finest museums in the United States and the world. The collection can easily be on the same level as the Metropolitan Museum in New York and some of the best museums in Europe. The collections include an incredible array of Works including impressionist, Modern Art, Greek, Roman, Asian, photography and in an absolutely outstanding beautiful building. Truly historic buildings and easy to Travel by car or public transportation. Plenty of parking. The gift shops are superb!. Wonderful staff, making sure that guests are happy and enjoy their visit. Live music every Friday evening for no additional cost at their Art After 5 program. They also serve drinks and food while you are listening to the music on the grand steps, for dance as well, inside the museum. The Philadelphia Museum us worth visiting again and again, and right down the road from other museums on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, maybe less than 10 minutes from other attractions within Center City Philadelphia as well. This museum is not to be missed. We visit from New York City about 6 times a year, it is that great.

The building alone is speechless. The museum is a must see for anyone who appreciates true art or architecture. I highly recommend visiting here. It's worth your money--you have a two-day pass with two additional sites close by. You also could spend several hours here if you really dug into the history of the art. **Additionally, try parking on the street following up to the front of the building, we paid $3.50 for 3 hours. Whereas the front of the building was $15. If you have a student ID, it cuts the price by $6.

The art museum has always been a fantastic attraction in the city. I had no idea that they were doing so much interesting stuff with the Arts these days. I was invited to perform during the final Fridays showcase, and it was a refreshing experience to see are both on the walls, in the halls, and on the stage. If you haven't been in a while, or if you've never been, definitely check it out. And if you're in town on the last Friday of the month, don't miss it.

This museum was pretty good compared to the others I have been to. There is plenty to see. I spent three hours there and still didn't see everything. There are beautiful exhibits that were made before this country was established. The "Rocky" statue was a bonus. The staff was helpful and friendly. This is worth another visit.

One of my favorite places in Philadelphia. They have a good selections of American, Asian and European arts. I wish they had more African arts. I love the Perelman building, they have some great exhibitions of arts and social justice. I remember seeing some exhibitions on gentrification in the city. On Wednesday evening, it's pay what you wish, and first Sundays of each month as well.
