Great for kids and families! My 4 year old loves it here, and we are planning to go back soon. I had considered a membership, but I'm not sure the value is there for just the 2 of us. There are so many fun exhibits to keep everyone entertained for at least a couple of hours. Be sure to get a ticket to ride the carousel. It was a highlight for us. My only recommendation would be to pay the money to park in their lot. There is plenty of street parking, but several cars had windows smashed during our visit. Somehow, we were spared, but I will never park on the street again.

This place is wonderful! It has paid parking, although if you can find a spot on the street, it's free! So many things to do. So much space. You will be chasing small children.. be prepared. The ticket prices can add up quick if you have a large group or go often. They have memberships which are the way to go if you do plan to come back again and again. Also first Wednesday of every month is $2 a person from 4pm-7pm. I believe they have other special discounts as well. Please see website. It is a very large building with many play spaces and cities and towns. It has trains and Alice and Wonderland. There is an indoor carousel as well for and extra $3 a person. It will definitely keep everyone busy. My favorite part is the water works with the clouds above.

Great for young kids - 3 to 6 years is probably the sweet spot. Something for everyone but get there early - weekdays are great. Nice cafe with some surprisingly healthy choices. Could get one more star if all the features worked (lily pad sound effects when stromped on by a 3 year old, for example) and if they updated a few exhibits (the shoe store is dated). Great carousel.

A beautiful building. Always something being upgraded, renewed, refreshed. A well loved place for so many. Kids absolutely love it! And great cafe for lunch or a snack.

It's a great place to be a member for a season or so, then things get old. Speaking of old, the stuff there is really getting worn down. Lots of things need replacing. Just don't go when there are a ton of people, it's basically useless because of all the little brats who's parents don't watch them and have them share with the other kids and the crowds just take over everything so your kid has nothing to play with. We haven't gone in a while and may hold off for some more time till we feel like heading there again. It's almost something you can have too much of. But you should at least go there once to check it out.
