Our experience with this store and their employees was an enjoyable event and a huge success!  My friend and I took both our daughters and their 2 friends in search for prom dresses.  I'll admit that I wasn't expecting an easy non-stressful day shopping for prom dresses with 4 teenage girls...But, surprisingly it turned out to be a wonderful day!!  The ladies that assisted us in the changing areas for all 4 girls, were above and beyond HELPFUL and PATIENT!  :) THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I recently had a great experience at Glitterati.  Through a series of questions that I had, I was introduced to the assistant manager and then the manager, who I found to be a gentleman.  My questions were answered thoughtfully and with consideration to me as an individual.

Outstanding assortment of dresses makes it a shop where everyone can find their style and color.

My girlfriend and I were looking forward to a good prom dress shopping experience the second we walked in the employees were giving us dirty looks, after my girl friend found a few dresses the employee took the dresses so that my girlfriend could try them on she very rudely asked for her information to write on a slip of paper, we waited for a few moments, we watched as most of the customers were being treated very nicely, finally she was taken to a fitting room the girl who helped her out was extremely nice, however there was an older white lady there who was very rude, the young lady really tried her best to help my girlfriend find the perfect dress at the end when she could not find the dress she was looking for the older lady asked my girlfriend if she was going to take any of the dresses my girlfriend answered she did not know yet she was still thinking about it the lady later took the dress and hung it up with all the other dresses so my girlfriend thought it would be better just to leave since the dress she was thinking about taking was gone, she got dressed into her regular clothes and politely said “thank you so much for your help” to the older lady the older lady gave a very dirty look and did not answer. Me and my girlfriend felt very unwelcomed, don’t plan on coming here unless you’re white.

To begin, I was naive, and didn't realize that coming on a Sunday would be a madhouse, but it was, so my daughter and I just dealt with it. 

The entrance on the first floor looked stylish and modern. There were nice seats, decor, mannequins etc...it was cramped with people but  netherless ok. The tide began to change when they asked my daughter's size the moment we were greeted. She is an 8/10. Tall and thin but with a larger ribcage etc... She is fine but a tad self-conscious about not being a size 2. It is unprofessional to ask someone's especially a teenage girl's size in front of  a million other teenage girls. Also, after being asked and then being told to go upstairs to the third floor made her feel out of place literally. It didn't help that it looked like a secondhand thrift shop upstairs in comparison. The seats were beat up, the wooden beams on the ceiling were beat up and it was crooked. I had to ask a customer what we were supposed to be doing...which was picking out three dresses so that we could get in line. That itself took 40 min. When I had asked an associate where we had stood, she stared at me blankly, ignored me. I let that go as to not further ruin my daughter's experience. She is an honors student who has worked very hard at school and has been working out to fit well into her senior prom dress.
   When we finally got into a room, the associate was overall nice, but overworked. I could not get personal attention towards my daughter Because there was too much going on. I tried to alleviate this issue by taking on the role myself, by getting her gowns, helping her undress etc... because she was left standing naked half the time in the room. Oddly enough, there must be a policy that the associates have to be the ones to hang, take the dresses off or something because Every time I went to help my daughter unzip the dress hanging the associate who was too busy to be found immediately appeared and said " oh I got that" but never helped to find another dress or anything else.

We were willing to spend hundreds, if not thousands for the right dress, the right moment and for that great experience. To make my daughter feel like a princess, because she is.

We will move on to other places to give her that. A place that doesn't make her feel invisible, ignored and where she can look for a dress without being pushed out of the way by the many associates scrambling to look for dresses for other girls, but not for her.

This place gets 2 stars for the nice dresses that they do have. Being an assistant manager myself, I cannot stress how important customer service is...especially when dealing with pivotal moments of a young girl's life such as a prom. It wasn't even worth bringing this to the attention of a manager, because I read the reviews and it looks like it hasn't changed and the person responding is defensive. I would have just gotten more upset. If you know the exact dress you want, you could come here during a weekday, but other than that maybe go somewhere else.

I absolutely loved this store and staff, they're not pushy!!!! Let me just say Elizabeth was a dime. She was so patient and attentive, she listed to what I wanted and pulled out THE dress--mind you I went wedding dress shopping at this store. They have such a broad selection whether it's Bridal or Prom dresses. My dress is gorgeous, it's Sherri Hill and half the price of the other Bridal stores--I went to a few. I 100% recommend this store.
