A hidden gem if you like your Caribbean Spanish food with a flare of authenticity. Very interesting ambiance, great food and moderate pricing. Keep in mind this is the only place anywhere for some distance you can get this kind of food. I will be back soon.

This place must be a bar more than a restaurant. We ordered delivery through ubereats. I was excited to have some Costa Rican food. But I was left disappointed. The Chifrijo didn't have avocado and the tomatoes in the salsa ws not fresh. It was not served with lime either. The traditional dish Gallo pinto was not served with tortillas or egg as it is traditionally supposed to be even though the menu has it pictured. And worst of all the olla de carne which is a hearty beef soup was served as 3 carrots (including a stem) and one piece of meat - for $6. Price did not equal what we got. I must be mistaken and this must be a bar and not a good restaurant. I will not return here. At. All. If you want good Costa Rican cuisine - this is NOT where to go.

I've never had food here I'm pretty sure it's decent it's actually been more than a few months since I've been there rumor has it they don't actually have an operating liquor license they just make so much money from people drinking their so cheaply that they're able to pay the fines time and time again I don't know maybe this town should look into it, they only have three kinds of beer

Cool place. Only thing is, at the bar you need a $30 minimum order to use a credit card. Otherwise you need cash.
