Story

Newly opened for the best of the Spring/Summer Season, the new anchor of the Hudson & Bergen County Riverfront, Pier 115 Bar and Grill in Edgewater, New Jersey. While delivering the high points of a Modern American Gastro Pub, with 100 beers by tap and bottle, Wood Fired Pizza Oven, a full service kitchen, and two dozen HD flat screens that will house international sporting events nightly. The space uniquely offers unparalleled views of NYC from our 200 seat Dining Room, separate outdoor 60 seat Pier Deck, and 150 person Lounge/Night Club named Q. Dock. I was here for couple of drinks. The bar was full so we decided to get a table. Staff was helpful. We got couple of starters with our drinks. Everything was delicious and service was great. There was even a private event going on when we were there. There is a semi-private room in the restaurant for group events. One thing I did not like was the noise. I like to have a conversation without having need to shout one another. In general it was a great experience and I will definitely go again.

Good but the bar tenders could be more talkative with the clients. They are very impersonal just serving drinks and food and end of the story. A bar tender is more than that.Requires more interaction with the clients. Maybe they are not trained to do that and be a real bar tender.

Had lunch. For a mostly empty restaurant, the food came out slowly. 2 of us ordered burgers, which were very bland. They didn’t season the meat. For a $19 burger, you at least have to season the meat. The chicken on my mom’s grilled chicken sandwich wasn’t seasoned either, also bland. Service was fine, ambience is nice.

Pro : The location right across the Hudson is tremendous for a nice outing with friends or family. Good selection of beer and well prepared entrees. The wings in ghost pepper sauce is awesome.

Con : The entrance to the place is a lil shady. Looks like an abandoned pier. So would suggest taking the valet right up to the bar. Costs only 5$ which is well worth it.

Solid beer and wine selection with attentive bartenders. I didn't dine but I hope to soon. The late weekend night that I was there attracted a young professionals' kind of crowd. Easygoing, not pretentious but still grown up and classy enough for a date night our hang with the fellas.
