I went to this station to file an incident report for identity theft.  They questioned me like I was the suspect!!!! I waited for 30 minutes because someone was ahead of me.  Thats understandable.  They didn't want to do any paperwork.  They sent me to another precinct in another county even though the crime happened in their township.

 They totally wasted my time.   If it was up to me, I really wish could give them a negative star!

They are as worthless as a pint of piss.

I feel that their goal really is to help. They want to make sure you are safe. I was involved in a violent domestic dispute. They saved me. I was treated so kindly, and they were so helpful. I feel they went above and beyond anything I'd seen in my previous city, which was Philadelphia. I'm beyond grateful to this police department.

My first experience was essentially unnecessary but they didn't know that when they turned their lights on. I do know that as a whole this police force is one of the best balanced overall. Maybe too aggressive at times but they're watching my back too.

My son was recently pulled over for an alleged broken tail light. He is a 22 year old young man who has never been in trouble, of any kind. The officer who pulled him over was very aggressive, he would not tell him what was going on and was clearly looking for a confrontation. Fortunately, my son is polite, he tried to be as cooperative as possible. Despite the officer constantly trying to agitate and provoke him. My son reported this was a very uncomfortable and scary experience. The officer had no reason to believe my son was a threat or danger yet he was placed in handcuffs, he was searched for drugs, again no reason to believe, think or suspect. I am proud to say my son does not and has never even tried drugs. I can say that with confidence. He reported this whole experience was intimidating, and his trust of the police has certainly dwindled. He  nor anyone else should ever feel this way, especially after a "simple" traffic stop. 
It is extremely problematic that officers would try to provoke a confrontation when it is not necessary. 
I would hope police officers would want to cultivate cooperative and amicable community relationships instead of hostile and combative ones. I suppose not so much in the case of officer Thompson.
